hi all,bit about me i guess:eek:
i did lighter life for 5 months and followed it flawlessly and completed magement fully to.
After nearly 2 years of maintaining i had a horrible experience and started to comfort eat , now plenty has happened the last 2 years and its all been fine but last oct things just went belly up and i lost control of my eating habits:(
managed to get it under control pretty quickly but then i made the mistake of getting on the diet merry go round again and ended up putting on some more weight so 2 stone up :( im getting off the merry go round and getting back to what i know works.
its like since oct even though im not comfort eating on a massive scale im using foor for all manner of things, to reward , to punnish ,to treat because im so tired i deserve 'something' basically any reason except what food actually is ... fuel !! so thought id give lite a go and so far its been great , 3 weeks down on tues coming and ive lost a stone and my relationship with food has completly changed again and back to a really healthy 'adult' mind set.
hope im ok posting on here , been on the lite boards but its super quiet which is such a shame as minimins is the best place for support, and ive been all lonesome over there :D
anyway hoping to meet many returners on here where we can all support and encourage eachother x

Heya! Nothing bad about doing Lite for a bit of a kick up the backside (that's why I did it too :) )! Seems like it's really helping you mentally and physically. I say WELL DONE for taking control of the situation before it got out of hand.
2 years of maintenance is no easy feat either! WOW! :clap:

Things happen in life that are difficult to deal with and sometimes they may very well reflect badly on other areas of our behaviour. You are dealing with your problems in a healthy way now, and addressing other issues appropriately.

As for the Lite forum; we mostly hang out in the abstinence forums, but if you have any questions or anything do feel free to post there as well! A few of us are always around. :D

You can post anything my dear! Just don't mention food in the abstinence forum. :) If you have food related issues (as in specific food question, about what to have, or portions or anything) you may discuss them in the Route to Management section or indeed the Lite section... but I reckon people will check the RTM one more and will be able to provide advice!
If you have food related issues that are psychological it can indeed go into the abstinence bit.

Welcome back, at least you spotted what was going on with your eating, and you've taken action, that's the really hard part.

Lite seems to be going well for you, you're nearly 1/2 way there already.
