Beef Casserole

I made this the other night, really simple and ingredient amounts can be varied but here's how I did it:

1 x Large Carrot peeled and sliced
1 x Onion sliced thinly
1 small packet of button mushrooms washed
400g Cubed Braising Steak with visible fat trimmed off
Oxo Cube
Pinch of Salt and Pepper
tsp Paprika

Place all ingredients into a casserole dish that has a lid. Fill with water so it just covers your ingredients. Place in a pre-heated oven on 160 degrees and cook for two hours.

After two hours remove from oven and add a couple of tsp of Bisto Gravy Granuals (1/2 syn per tsp I think) to thicken the sauce as required.

Serve with mash or Jacket Potato.
