Just trying this recipe, will let u know how it turns out!

Beef koftas with cous cous

500g lean minced beef
1 onion, finely sliced
Tsp curry powder (I used tbsp of madras cos I like it spicy!)

I whizzed this together in a food processor cos I like it smooth, but u just need to mix together, chill in fridge for 30 mins, then roll into poo shapes and grill for 10 mins, sprayed with spray light ( I personally av cooked them in oven on high heat, then popped in slow cooker!) I also added some red pepper to mix whilst in processor!

The original recipe states add bread crumbs to bind, but I added a handful of porridge oats, but dont think u would need either!

Serve with cous cous mixed with whatever u like! The recipe states carrots, nuts and raisins , but up to u!

Will let u know how it turns out, but smellin pretty good up to now!

Oh, forgot to add, if ur serving the koftas on wood skewers, soak the skewers in water for 20 mins before using to prevent burning! x

Tried this recipe. Koftas were a lovely texture due to the fact I slow cookered them, but they were a bit bland. Going to make them again, but going to add more spice!

Have to say that telling us to make them into poo shapes isn't really selling it very well :D
