Hi All,

sorry if this is a silly question. I want to make a beef stew in my slow cooker. I am on slimming world and having a red day so I can't put any spuds in there if I want it to stay free.

My question is....If there are no spuds in there how will I thicken it up so its not like water????

Its probably a really simple answer!

You can put a little cornflour in there to thicken it up.

Yup, cornflour - I'd put it in at the end though, mix it with a little water so it goes runny then stir it in while the heats on, keep stirring though or it could go lumpy.. keeping the heat low will help too.
