Beelishy's VLCD Weight Loss Adventure!!

Oh! And ive decided that Im going to take my bars with me when go to Edinburgh. The Saturday night we are gonna have to eat at BK in the station due to lack of time and the timing of the train and our arrival. So that's the only decent option. So Im going to have a bar and a couple of eggs through the day tp free myself up for the evening meal and then I will probably have a burger. Ive already checked the nutrition info and the veggie (bean based) burgers are SO much higher in carbs than the normal ones. :/ The normal one is 52g carbs and the veggie one is 75g !! *sigh* lol. Anyway. So I will have that and no chips and that will be me done for the day. Right around 70g carbs and around 900 cals. :)

Then i will take a couple of bars for Sunday through the day and then have a meal at night with them. Not going crazy, again. I dont want to set myself back if I can help it. And then a couple of bars for monday. We get back into newcastle around 5 so by the time we get home it will be well past our dinner time and I will have a pack or two before bed and hit the hay. :)

I love planning things. Can you tell? hahaa
 
Pripri....I just add a bit salt, really. I dunno why but I just really enjoy it. Sometimes I add a teaspoon of balsamic vinegar but Im very weird and Im not sure about the rules re: balsamic. I read, i think it was in the official S&S group on fb, that it could knock you out of ketosis so not allowed. So probably best not to. But if you like spicy heat, you could add some hot sauce and a little salt...or black pepper (i dont really like black pepper so i always use hot sauce for stuff lol). I just actually really love it. I let it soak in boiling water to soften the pasta for at least 5 mins...usually more like 10-15. then i microwave it for 1.30 and then 1.20 and check it. i like to leave a bit wet but not soupy. K hunt hnx i added chilli pack to my spag bol yday n wasnt tht bad hehe n a oxo cube n timy bit of chilli powder...the chilli pack kinda took over the apag bol taste which i was thankful for and also mushrooms chopped up into it nx time may try with bbybel wen i buy some bt im not buyom me as yet on purpose loolz purely cz i know wt im like with cheese n plus my sisters end up nicking my cheeese which nt very impressed abt :/...lol..'z

3lbs is reli gd well done hun:) lol i luv planning tooo hehe reli reli wnt to try chicken n fish dish sumtime this week npt had ne since i started this diet lool x

I just figure that all the giving up i did in the past has gotten me to where i am now...35 and still fat! haha. If I had plowed on and kept trying...doesnt matter if its a million different ways, but trying none-the-less...i would probably be at goal. Im not going to start another year fat...so I need to be at goal by my birthday in sept but Im aiming to be there by my littlest's 2nd birthday in May.

We can all do it...no matter how slow..just chip away and we will get there! :)

So...I had a shake this morning. And then it got to lunch time (just now. lol) and I ws hungry and I though to myself that I need to fill up as best as I can do avoid a repeat of yesterday afternoon's hunger-a-thon because although i was good and resisted yesterday...i may not today. Hmphf. lol. So I had decided to have my 2 eggs as an omelette with hot sauce and a slice of dairylea light inside. AND I made my 2nd pack (pancakes) and had one pancake and my omelette. Im going to drop a shake to make up for the cheese (only 2.5 carbs but still!) and that still leaves me with the rest of my pancakes (i have the other 2 in the fridge for later, with a cup of coffee....to bridge that dastardly gap between lunch and dinner that always seems to get me! lol) my chili and swede chips tonight and a bar. plain sailing and my cals are 868 and carbs 63 ..so spot on for me. and thats with 4 packs, a 2 egg cheese omelette and swede chips to go with my chili?! YES!!! haha

And Im quite full and happy now. I think Im going to take Zoe in for her nap and I might have a bit of a kip myself. This dreary greyness always makes me sooo sleepy!

I love this. I think I'd do mine for each pound because I like big bouquets! ;). My DH gave me 27 roses for our anniversary.
 
Morning,

I think insomnia is often a side effect of getting into ketosis -- hopefully, once you're in ketosis and after you're body has adjusted to the lower calories it'll pass.

I found this comment on a blog about someone who used a 800 calories a day diet to lose about 2 stones.

"... The only ill health effects I had were: insomnia the first two weeks, a few leg cramps (I started taking potassium), and brief constipation (I started taking yellow dock)."

232 this morning :D thats a nice little 2lb whoosh over night. :D

I have to go out this morning to pick up a few things that didnt come in my delivery yesterday and/or I forgot. Im going to get some swede too to have on my Day 1 menu days.

Food today -

Day 2 (this is so much easier than typing it all out! haha)

I also need to go to the post office and clean up the flat again. Bleurgh. lol

How is everyone doing today?
 
Back! Had a cup of coffee before I went out and my first little omelette of the day when i got in. Im having some juice now..er..squash. lol. And then I will start on water. And I have to give the girls a bath...

I just want to snuggle down in bed and snooze. lol. x
