I am basically looking for some info about the Cambridge Diet - I just found this forum and asked similar question about Lighter Life.

Has anyone done both? Are they similar, whats the difference?

And whats the cost of the CD?

I really want to shift about 3 stone, I just dont know which diet to try?:confused::confused::confused::confused:

haven't done both but i know there is a lady on here that has done both she will be on later.
the price varies between consultants and also it will be higher if you are taller than 5.7 but its between 30-50 a week i would say on 3 packs

Hi, have done both. LL you get a counselling session once a week (so really grill your counsellor and work out if you get on first!) as well as your packs - price is over 70 quid a week these days. CD is between 40 and 45 quid - you still get support, but much more hands off. I hated the LL counselling...it was amateur at best (I've studied CBT at degree level) and counterproductive and almost bullying at worst.

You can lose 3 stone in 12 weeks depending on your start weight and commitment levels.
