Best way to prepare in 2 days?

    I'm starting SS on Weds with my existing 2 day supply and then meeting CDC on Thurs evening. Have read the mega useful link that Mini gave in another response about preparation but it covered a week.

    So, as I only have 2 days, should I cut out refined carbs (or all major carbs) completely or is this a waste of time? Or should I reduce them over the 2 days? Quite like the idea of ketosis happening sooner rather than later but want the best chance of succeeding this time. Don't have a problem with the water as I always drink lots anyway.

    Hi Nat,

    Well done for making the decision to loose weight.

    All I eat was carbs (pasta, bread etc) prior to CD so each day I had less and less carbs. e.g. chicken with 2 spoons of rice then next day chicken with 1 spoon of rice. I lost 8lbs on my prep week.

    If your carbs are limited then I guess you will hit ketosis quicker. I would cut down your intake each day then it will be quicker to get into ketosis and less harsh on you.

    I didnt prep much and I was awful on the first day-honestly felt like I was dying!!! My head felt like it was going to explode and I was weak. It was horrible so I think following Bunny's advice is the best you can get.

    I cut down carbs completly in the 4 days to starting CD and it worked well for me, I didnt get any major headaches at all.

    Good Luck whatever you decide to do you can do it.

    Thanks for the replies. I am going to reduce my carbs today and reduce further tomorrow and that should help the transition! Sooo excited!
