Thanks Hanz and Kellie for the offer of click-ness. It would be so exciting if I got to go. Looks like you've had a really good couple of days - well done. I was doing so well and then this morning my scales said I'd put weight on - wtf?? In my disgust I ate two slices of left over pizza and a kit kat. Got roast lamb to come later so must try to avoid the roast tats and parsnips. Damnit all to hell and back.
 
judith- know the feeling well. WTF is right. Ok stay away from the otehr stuff at dinner. Scales go up adn down for many reasons, but the more you stick to your plan the quicker it will go back down again.

Channel your rage somewhere where food is not involved!

Thanks Kels - hope the trip wasn't too dreadful and you managed to keep the eating under some kind of control. At least you got back in one piece with all (or most of the kids). One trip I did with a bunch of inner city kids, we found out in the mini bus on the way back that they'd managed to catch a live buzzard and had it in a holdall. They were planning on selling it to a local drug dealer!!??! Oh what fun...
 
So just came back from my daily walk, cut shorter than I'd like due to the cold and my poor achy feet haha! Burned 500 cals so far today, and eaten I think about 800 (will have some toast & fruit later to top it up to 1000). Feeling good :)

been away for the weekend, visiting the parents back home so not been able to be online.

Went out for a couple of meals and relatively happy with my food choices, had a stuffed pepper for starters filled with rice, then a Chicken salad with no dressing and was abit naughty for dessert and had a trio of cheescakes but they were like one mouthfull each. Then today went for lunch and went for a jacket potatoe with Tuna but again had dessert and gave in to the cheesecake and had a Marsbar cheesecake, was very light actually, and had no side effects as yet from the Xenical so hoping Im going to be ok as apart from my cheesecakes, I have been really good.

Will post again tomorrow morning, following the WI, Goodluck to everyone else who has their WI's tomorrow.

Mmm Marsbar cheesecake sounds amazing!! Thats some good choices, I think the odd cheesecake wont harm you overall.

Had a good day, went out with friends lastniht but stayed onthe diet coke, but did have a sandwich when I got in at one! So just called that my healthy extra and didnt have another one today. Had a very lovely roast for dinner!
Judith you can totally have roast potatoes, try buying some frylight and spray it over them to crisp them up, its like no caloies at all and I cant notice the difference. :D
Also agree with Kellie, find somewhere for the anger from the scales..Whenever I get angry/upset and feel like binging I do my beatbox section of my fitness dvd instead.. lots of punching and kicks! A very good stress reliever indeed.. just imagine someones head in front of you.. ah.
 
Weighed today and no loss, gutted!!! Blaming those pesky but delicous cheesecakes....damn things!

Instant_karma, I'm soo impressed with your calorie burning, well done! Sounds impossible to me, I am so unfit.
 
Nee, it could be any reason for no weight loss, but as a few of us can testify, someitmes a week of no loss is followed by a week of a lot of loss, so do not reach for the chocolate/crisp/ biscuit tin and keep going. Keep your happy can do attitude going. and don't regret the cheesecakes.

Maynie well done to you, it sounds like your well on your weigh(haha) to the 4 stone loss.

My WI is tomorrow but I am not at all confident as very bad food choices were made last week when away with young ppl. I am so bad at dealing with things out of my routine.
But I am determined to let that be it, and today think "slim".
My goal is November, and so I keep telling myself it is about being healthy and balanced, rather than just weight loss.
I am determined not to let myself start bashing me- I'm so fat/ stupid/ lazy but instead concentrate on feeling healthy, committed to running, and keeping socialising and having fun when i need to. It may take me longer to get there, but if i can stay there when i do, rather then putting it all back on, it'll be worth it.
There are many things out of my control, including if I will be redundant in June, so I want to concentrate on what i can, and leave the rest in the hands of God. I am determined today will be a good day.

Here's hoping i have convinced myself!!!

Oh believe me, I'm really unfit as well. I usually burn ~600 cals a day but it's through 2 hours of walking, rather than anything particularly strenuous :eek: when I get down to around 11st I'm gonna start swimming as well (which burns lots of calories in a shorter time, as well as being pretty much a full-body workout :D) and hopefully combine the two and keep losing.

Morning all!

Yesterday was a good day, I admit I didnt venture outside but food wise I was really good, hoping this afternoon to take the dogs to the beach for a walk - but hoping it stays sunny ;)

I am having the issue of feeling utterly lazy and am abit down too, hoping I snap out of it soon, but regardless I am still eating well/healthy so am at least happy with that :)

Well WI was as bad as expected- 3 lbs on.... WOW. but i'm not going to stress it. I know what i did wrong. One week with weight on is ok. So long as it si only one week. I am studying this week for an exam on Friday, I have a wedding on Saturday, so I aim to just keep eating well adn exercising, and have 1lb off next week, and then next week I am going to blitz it and really push myslef in the running.
Still, what a shame:cry:

Kelly, don't sweat it - like you say its just one week. The thing to do is just what you are doing which is not use it as an excuse to chuck the towel in. I admit that earlier in the week I was struggling to lose the pound I'd put on the previous week and generally feeling that I was making all this effort to get back to where I started. I was genuinely on the brink of giving up. But thanks in part to you guys on here, I kept at it and I've lost the pound I put on and another 2 pounds. So the net effect over the last 2 weeks has been an overall loss so its been worth it. I'm sure you'll knock off those couple of pounds (especially with the amount of exercise you do) in no time. xx

Im definately going to start swimming.. but not untill I can actually feel decent in a costume, havent owned one for at least 5 years now because I hate the thought of what I'd look like in them.. which is silly because I used to love swimming so much.

Weigh in minus 3 hours.. not having a great day as am feeling very emotional(PMS randomness!) Anything vaguely weepy on tv has had me going today.. I feel riduculous crying when Im not actually upset.. very strange. Am avoiding all chocolate in the house as know Ill just eat the lot too..:p
