I've had a reasonably good day today. I'm following the WW Propoints out of the Daily Mail (hate the paper but couldn't resist having a look and getting the voucher for first meeting). I feel I've eaten far too much (porridge with fruit, fry up for lunch, veg curry and rice for supper + my 5 extra treat PPs) and I can't quite believe I can eat as much fruit as I want. All sounds too good to be true but it if works, it will be the best diet EVER. So watch this space!

Only once in the history of all my dieting have I managed to sts over xmas let alone lose - so :happy096: . And really glad the job is going well. xx

o_O let me know how it goes, in slimming world theyve all been gossiping about it! (some kind of sw vs ww rivarly..pah!) It looks similarish to what I do now on extra easy plan in sw and you really do get to eat loads, as long as its the right stuff and good for you. Like the earning pp bit, thats cool.. so if you really want something you can exercise to get it.

I've had a confusing day because I don't know enough about this WW malarkey to do it properly. I've stuck to it but still feels like I've eaten too much. I think I may go to a meeting tomorrow and find out more. Also made appmt with GP to get a check up and referral to the exercise programme. Hope you've all had a good day. xx

Great Judith, all full steam ahead by the sounds of it. Going to a WW will definately do you good, if your abit unsure, they can help you.

Docs is on tuesday. Nee, what you doin' girl? I think we are all a bit flummoxed by success - its almost like we can't quite believe it and instead of spurring us on, we can often do the opposite. Why not have a spartan "normal day" today - don't go mad. Just think that everything extra you eat today will be more calories to ditch tomorrow. xx

Today couldn't get up to go to early WW meeting so will go tonight - benefit of living in a city is there's always more choice. My sleeping is all over the place: I can't sleep before 3am and then can't get up before 10 to save my life. Then if I'm working I have to be there for quarter to 8 and I'm like a zombie all day. Quite a busy day today (for me - I don't do a lot normally) so hopefully will keep my mind off food.

Being at home means I can cook 3 times a day if I want which means lots of washing up but lots of nice food. I'm going to whip up a vat of soup today to pad out my meals. Will also do some veggie bolognase-type sauce for freezer. Off out with doglet now.

Being stupid is what im doing ha ha, sometimes I feel I have no self control!! its highly annoying, and more annoying is once Im in the zone I can be so committed!!! Roll on tomorrow, then maybe I wont feel so glum!

Ah it feels like we are all getting back into it. So my apointment last night went well. I am open to the new eating plan which has a lot more protein and less carbs than I am used to. As i said before, for me its the one to one work on why I binge eat, so I'm really looking forward to that part. And if anyone knows good ways to eat non diary protein let me know! My weight is 12 12 there, 12 9.5 on my own scales. I am 20.5 lbs lighter than when I started out last year, which I am delighted by. Slowly i will get there, and I reckon we all will.

Judith, Well done on going to WW meeting, shame there was so many newbies, as you may have enjoyed the full meeting if you had of had the chance, My mum goes to WW meetings, partly to socialise and also she does find the meetings useful, so maybe go to another one and see :)

After having a good feast yesterday, Im back on it today!!! I gained 2lbs this week, which isnt so bad after eating, indian, maccy'd's, burger and chips in a pub etc so I still have a 7lb loss for this year so far!!

Hi Wemitts,

Had a good day today. Struggling to get my head around the new WW stuff because there's no easy logic to it. You just have to learn the Propoints for everything. I've had a play with the calculator but it isn't that easy to work out and certainly isn't snappy (iykwim). I also feel like its a lot of food but, hey, I can live with that!

Loving the porridge for breakfast and all the fruit you can eat but still feels very naughty. I'm still going to use Slimfast for convenience but I'm enjoying cooking at the moment. I have an allowance of 32 PPs per day and an extra 49 PPs each week to use for treats. Do you think it would be too indulgent to use tracking points as an excuse to buy an Iphone??

i am sooo intrigued by new ww plan, but cc is working well for me so best to stick to that i guess!

So far everything about WW is counter-intuitive. And I can't get over the fact that I feel stuffed by my porridge and fruit in the morning. I never ever feel full on a normal diet. So far is much better than CC but then again, I haven't had that normal wonderful big loss in first week.

I've got a very busy weekend so will be interesting to see how I cope with all the pointing. May lean on slimfast for a couple of meals.

Kelly, I agree with Minus, the Quorn products are great on being low calorie and very tasty too, and then off course the protein xx
 
Ouch.. my head hurts :( I took a wee tumble down a flight of stairs last night... opps. I cant really complain, it was my fault for drinking so much!! Drank a bit more than I should of really, definately blew my syns but I had a good time so not too fussed! I also met a very nice man, so yeay! :)

Totally agree on Quorn, I really like the mince and the 'chicken' pieces.. I thought I would hate them but in sauces etc there not really that different.

I think my consultant may be trying to show me the plan works by my losing a ton of weight first week, but I know how to lose weight, its binge eating i need help with.And hunger makes me binge eat. Anyway, for now, I'll stay positive and see how it goes.

Me too hun, drinking far to much can be good sometimes, although I had a dull night, so Im glad yours was worth drinking :)

i wish i could eat quorn but theres something about it i am very allergic to :eek: wound up in hospital last time i ate the chicken style pieces and now refuse to allow anyone to eat it around me :D
