***Blue's Daily Diary 2017***

Well I'm back...again. I'm so glad Minimins is alive again, I've missed this site!
I had a diary in this section in 2015 but thought I'd make a new one as it's been a long time.

Since starting my last diary I've lost about 6 stone :) I still have a fair few stone to go though, probably another 7-8.
The last 6 months I've pretty much stalled at the same weight because I've not made any effort to eat right or exercise. But as of today I'm getting back in to it.
I'm off on holiday in May (just to the seaside) and I'm hoping to have about 2 stone off by then.

I have type 2 diabetes and Dr's have told me that if I lose enough weight I can 'reverse' it. Whether that's actually true or not I don't know.
I was also recently diagnosed with a few mental health issues including BPD (borderline personality disorder) and PTSD.
So this diary of mine will be one that covers my weight loss journey, my meals, my mental and physical health, and everything else! I like to talk and it's nice to have somewhere to jot down my thoughts.

The usual - lost weight, put it back on - a-n-d repeat . Moved to Italy a year ago and been enjoying - in abundance - all the food and wine on offer, but am starting SW from home on Monday.

Oh wow, Italy? That's amazing.
Good luck with slimming world. I'm tempted to give it a go myself as I've joined some SW facebook groups and it looks like an easy one to follow.
I'm currently just using MFP and hoping for the best!

Hi Blue Butterfly.
Just wanted to congratulate you on your great weight loss and your commitment to get to your goal.
From all I´ve read over the years I reckon that yes, it´s true that you´ll be able to reverse your diabetes.
Good luck

Sorry for neglecting you diary! And thanks lovelies for the comments :) x

I had quite a few 'bad' days last week but went straight back to healthy eating like usual and have lost 7lbs since starting this diary which is a fine loss I think.
I do get a bit disheartened sometimes because 'only' losing 1-2lbs a week seems like it'll take me forever to get to goal but all those little lbs soon add up. And I guess years of faffing about with meal replacements and having huge losses (and then huge gains!) made my weight loss expectations rather high haha.
Anyway I lost 5lbs my 1st week. STS my 2nd week. And this week I've lost 2lbs.
I'll be having a couple of days of naughty eating this weekend as it's my sister's birthday so there will be cake!

Have a great weekend all. x x x
