booking in appointment

Hi, I'm hoping to start ttc in next few months & wondered what happens at booking in appointment? I want to be below bmi 30 but, due to age, going to start trying at bmi 31. Do you use your own scales or those at drs? Thanks.

I use my own scales, but I can't imagine the doctors will me much out if any.
At booking appointment they do your height, weight, fill out loadsa forms, bloods. Will estimate your due date, answer any questions you have. Hope that helps x
