Bread question

Hi. Can anyone tell me what the lowest carb bread or similar that can be eaten on a low carb diet? I'm desperate for a bacon sandwich and am trying to find the least worst option for bread or a substitute.
Thanks X

To make at home:
Flax bread or mims (made from flax)
Or oopsies
See the mims thread on the atkins board sticky

To buy:
Joseph pita
Mama lupe wraps
Various other breads at low carb megastore.com

If not being very strict on low carb then Burgen soya and linseed bread is only 10g carb per slice and very yummy:)

Thanks Kat1e.
Never heard of any of those before. Are they available at Asda, Tesco, etc or from specialist shops?

Sorry - should have been clearer

Flax is available in healthfood stores nd supermarkets - either ground or unground. Then see the recipes on atkins sticky

The ready made bread products are available to buy online from lowcarbmegastore.com or avidlite (not sure if com or co.uk)

Burgen bread is just available anywhere in with the standard loaves - get label checking:)

Low carb megastore do a bread mix that you make up yourself, it is fairly expensive but is one of the best breads i have eaten including carb heavy ones. It called atkins bread mix i think, i bought 10 last time as it goes out of stock fast. I have tried making my own versions using vital wheat gluten, soya and flax but nothing has come out as good :(
