It's the fat per 100g you need to watch out for but most bread is fine. A second vote for pitta too, my new favourite thing!

I totally agree, today was the first time I have had bread in a couple of weeks and boy did I miss the taste n texture of the Pitta Bread. I get a lovely wholemeal one from Aldi's and it is so cheap, and versatile.

I went to the Docs yesterday for my weigh in and once again went on about cutting out bread, he's really against it. He said it is something to do with clogging the liver, whatever, so he was pleased to hear I was on wholemeal pitta bread. Interesting point he made, evidently he takes more calories to digest wholemeal that plain!
