Butternut Squash

I know it can be a total nightmare. I normally half it at the narrowest part and then peel and deseed plus means you should be left with a half that has no seeds at all which is perfect for cutting into chips!!

Or you can be lazy and get the precut stuff for £1 for 2 packets in morrisons!! :)

I never peel the skin off i just wash it & roast it with the skin on. Its not tough at all. x
 
if you really want to peel it the easiest way is to slice it in inch slices till you get to the bulb part and then use a potato peeler and it is very easy. YOU then can cut the bulb part in half and do the same but you really do not need to peel it if you are roasting it or using in soup. Good luck
 
I used to shove it in the oven for while and then take it out skin slid off then chopp, spray of fry light and sprinkle the paprika and bang back in the oven till almost crispy
