    Hi everyone,

Can anyone tell me if it's ok to take St John's Wort if SS'ing?? I usually take St J Wort through the winter and as it's virtually here :sigh: I thought i'd better start taking it now.

    Thanks!

St Johns wort is a bit of a nono as it is made from the flowers. But...some people take it without any problems at all. If you find it really helps you it might be a case of 'try it and see'

As above really with the proviso not before week three to ensure ketosis is well established and stop if you become hungry.

I've been taking starflower oil since I started CD with no problems, though I was warned it could cause trouble. As KD says, it's probably a try it and see thing
