Can I join in?

Hi everyone :)


I'm starting SW on Wednesday .. I had my little girl in April and put on about 3 stone during pregnancy :-| I started lipotrim about 3 months after and lost 2 stone but over Xmas put a lot back on..

I want to do something that will change the way I think/eat and not just something that's a quick fix! Hopefully SW will work for me, I've heard so many good things about it.. I would have liked to start today but the class near me doesn't start till Wednesday and I don't have a clue how it all works ..

Anyway, hope I can join in with all your journeys :D x
 
Welcome to Minimins and Slimming World Nic! SW is a lot to get your head around at first but you soon get the hang of it and it becomes second nature. It's a great plan - limited counting and weighing and no need to ever go hungry. If you have any questions get posting!
 
My mam is the same, can't join til Next week because of work shifts! But she has started eating the same stuff as me . Been food shopping with her today and she's got some basics like Healthy extra stuff, morrisons and asda have the Special K chewy delight bars for 99p which you can have as a healthy extra b, also tesco and morrisons have ryvita minis for 94p also healthy extra b! Stuff like semi skimmed milk if you don't use it already, fruit and veg, either quorn mince or extra lean beef mince, pasta/rice you can start eating healthily now until you have your book for guidance. It's a lot to get your head around but for me it was sitting studying the book every night after I joined to get it to stick in my head! And reading the magazines help when u go to group buy one as they're about £1 cheaper than in the shops.

Also the daily mirror has had the booklets in this week if you could grab a copy today they're 50p and they have 7 day meal plans and explain the plan a little bit x

Thanks for the advice guys.. From what I've read on here etc it does seem complicated.. But like anything until u get used to it :)

I am eating healthy at the mo but won't be following the plan until I go to class on Wednesday coz ill have to study the books lol xx
