Can you do Cambridge part time?

    Hi I lost 3 stone on Cambridge last year and have another two stone I would like to lose. Trouble is I am not looking forward to the disruption doing sole source causes to every day life - ie having to cook food for the family but not eat it - never going out for meals with friends etc. I'm just not in the mood for that right now!

    Do you think I could have a shake for breakfast and lunch and then eat a normal meal in the evening (ie same as the family - cottage pie - spag bol) and still lose weight? I appreciate it would take longer to lose weight - but I'd still be having reduced calories and so although not going into ketosis - I should still lose weight gradually providing I don't snack???

    How about doing one of the higher plans like 790 or 1000 plan which allow you to eat an evening meal?

    Maybe slim fast would suit you better?? 2 shakes, a 600 cal meal and three snacks. The weight loss is obviously slower but this may suit your lifestyle more. Slim fast is buy one get one free in at lot of places at the mo.

    I am sure you would lose weight doing just breakfast and lunch and then a healthy evening meal...i was going to do the same before deciding I wanted to lose all of my 5 stones rather than just a few that I'd gained recently. So long as your evening meal is not really more than 600 then I don't see why you wouldn't lose weight and you can still join in with the family...only my opinion of course! Joe

    I have done 790 for the last 3 months and have lost 3.6lbs on average per week.

    That is 3 shakes per day plus a meal.

    That would work for you

    or you could do 1000 with 2 shakes and three meals!
