can you drink too much water??

At your ideal weight you should drink a minimum of 2lts of water per day thats about 4.5 pints. You should add 500mls to that for ever stone overweight u are - UP TO A MAXIMUM OF 6 LITRES. With every stone you lose you should drop your water intake by 500ml = UP TO A MINIMUM OF 2 LITRES.

If you drink more that 6 litres of water in a day the nutrients you injest [whether they be from LT sachets or a normal healthy diet] will be diluted to such an extent that they will be rendered useless, therefore detrimental to your health.

Another reason is - if you drink to much water too quickly the essential salts in your body will become dilute, your body cannot flush the excess water away fast enough and the water ends up 'drowning' your internal organs. Causing, brain swell, fits, coma and ultimately, death.
