I was just thinking how I've got some really great SW tips by using this forum, :D and thought we could swap top tips we have picked up. It may be especially helpful for any newbies.

Here are my top 3...

* You don't have to use your syns on a daily basis. I now have 77 per week (an odd number, I know!!) and share them out through the week. Sometimes I may have 5 or some days 25!

* Quark mixed with options hot choc powder is the scrummiest choc-mousse style pudding for only 2 syns!

* Eating loads of speed and super speed, plus superfree foods can really boost your weight loss.

After 2 years on SW I have loads of top tips :) but I'll keep it to 3 for now.....

Firstly, vary your food - make food exciting and different - take inspiration from magazines and cookery books, most recipes can be adapted to SW style. Try not to eat the same foods each day and you won't get bored!

Secondly, be honest with yourself, if you stick to plan you WILL lose weight, all too often I think I am being good and deserve to have lost but when I look back lots of "bits" have sneaked in

Thirdly, don't rush the journey - celebrate each half pound lost and don't fret too much over a gain. It's so worth it when you get there.

Can't top Jaylou's really- excellent advice.

My only addition would be to go easy on yourself. If you constantly beat yourself up mentally or treat yourself as fat and ugly or talk to yourself like a failure, you will fail. You wouldn't talk to another person like this- you would look at the beautiful or positive or the achievements .....SO DON'T DO IT TO YOURSELF

There....feel better now!:D

If you go to class then stay for Body Magic, that's where you'll get tips that work.

Make sure you have all your healthy a's and b's and vary them.

Drink lots of water! You may not be hungry, you could be thirsty.
