Casserole help!

Just bought a lovely casserole dish from a charity shop. I have no idea how to make one! I'm thinking Chicken legs? Onions, carrots, potatoes and chicken stock? But that might be a bit runny...

Do you have any foolproof tips to make it delicious? X
 
You could cook in chicken stock and when its cooked drain a bit off mix in some corn flour (remember to mix the corn flour in a wee bit cold water first.) Then mix through that would thicken the sauce for only a few syns xxx
 
It's considered a tweak but it is possible to thicken things with smash. I also find that just reducing a sauce will thicken it enough. If you're using tomatoes then use plum rather than chopped as chopped are more watery and a bit if tomato purée helps.
