CD books/leaflets?

Hi, can you please tell what info you can get from your counciller about the CD diet?

I'd like to know more about the other plans that CD offer, and a couple of books have been mentioned recently!

Do you have to pay for any of them?

Hi good morning Emmie Lou.How r u doing.Did ur cdc not give u all the booklets when you first signed up for Cd as they have all the different plans and all the info you need.These are given free when you first get you packs.There is also a Cambridge diet book which has been published but i am not 2 sure where to get it from,i will do some research for u and find out.

You should receive the Sole Source booklet which explains the SS programme, how it works, what you can and cannot have.

You should also receive the Weight Care with Cambridge booklet, which explains in detail each of the programmes from SS, through to 1500, how they work, and what you do.

CDCs are allowed to charge for them, but I think the majority don't. If you have already met with your CDC and not received them, simply ask him/her next time you see them

I only got the Sole Source booklet from my CDC - did ask about the other one cos I'd heard about it on here..CDC didn't "know anything about that one" !!

so I just bought it off eBay !

Hi ya,

I was looking through the amazon web site the other week and they had about 3 books on the cambridge diet. I haven't recieved them yet so i can't tell you if they are any good.

Hello,

One of the books i have ordered is THE CAMBRIDGE DIET A MANUAL FOR PRACTITIONERS. Its by John Marks and Alan Howard. It was from the recycle section at Amazon, and it looked like it was an old book. The other book was just called the CAMBRIDGE DIET and this was by the same people. This looked like it was a updated version. This one was from Amazon direct.
As soon as i have them and judged how good they are i will let you know.

I've asked my CDC about the weight care with cambridge book but apparently she knows nothing about it....she says she will contact CD to find out so I suppose thats a step in the right direction!!

It's the yellow one that includes details on how to come off SS going through each step.
