    Hi and happy birthday!

Think of it as you giving yourself the best birthday present ever with CD...real care for yourself ...a much much better thing and feeling than some wine and food.

so i managed to get through another weekend with no takeaways, its actually been easy as ive been feeling so ill.ive even had to force myself to have my shakes.really looking forward to weigh in tuesday ive been drinking so much water and as my cdc says the more you drink the more you shrink.think im going to ask her about herbal tea's and see if i can drink any.water is getting a little boring i love coffee but im not sure if im allowed sweetners so thats another question i'll have to remember.hope everyones feeling good and doing well:)xx

Hi , well done at getting through your birthday 100 % it will be worth it :D

I can answer a few of your questions about drinks ... herbal teas are fine as long as they are made from leaves and not fruits or roots , you can have black coffee with tablet form sweeterners not granulated :)

    Hope that helps a little

    Hi there,

Well done for getting through your birthday, and hope you managed to have some fun even without food and drink.

I've taken to peppermint tea, it's quite refreshing, although at first tastes like someone dropped a polo mint in a weak tea, but you get used to it, promise!! :)

seem to be finding this week really easy not expecting to lose alot as my cdc told me most people hardly loose in week 3 something to do with your body going into shock.im not to bothered though worked out if i can loose a stone a month i should make my goal so im a happy bunny.im loving the cappachino shake ive been having this for breakfast everyday.

cannot believe all my lot had a takeaway last night as it was my daughters bday and it didn't bother me one bit and chocolate cake to.im feeling alot more confident in myself to and ive only lost 10lb for once i can acctually say im truely happy.everythings on the right track and im going to be skinny for the summer :):):)

    hope everyones good:) x

    Hey,
I don't know the reasons why, but I know it's really bad for you to drink alcohol while your in ketosis. It will knock you out of ketosis too!
I know how hard it is too be in a pub and not drink, but you can do it! You don't want to put all your hard work so far too waste do you? ;-)

Maybe google " drinking alcohol while on ketosis " and you might get a mote detailed reason of why it's so bad for you.

Sorry I couldn't be more help xxx

I know it's no fun at all being in a pub and not being able too drink!! I had to do it on Monday at my Grandad's wake, and I was in the pub with about 30 family members who were drunk!! And I was in there from 12.30-8.00pm! I went through about 10 bottles of water!! It's not easy, but just think how proud of yourself you will be when you walk out of the pub, knowing what a big hurdle you have over come! That's a real achievement!!
I snuck 2 tins of coke zero in my bag too the pub, ( as I knew they would only stock diet coke ) I got myself a glass, and filled it with my coke zero, and nobody but me and my Mum knew any different :)

I hope you have a brilliant night, 1 drink is definitely not worth knocking yourself out of ketosis!! It won't be long until you can have a vodka :-D definitely keep that thought in mind all night :) xxx
