cereal

hello Miss jam,

welcome to the maintenance bit of the board.

Are looking ahead to maintenance or are you there now i see from your ticker that you don't have much to lose.

are you following CD at the moment? if you are then CD steps give good choice ideas for breakfast as you follow the steps back up to normal eating again.

porridge is my usual thing
or
late morning poached egg on granary toast
low gi cereal, shredded wheat or no added suagr muesli are good

hope this helps

i am just looking ahead. dont have long till im wanting to maintain now. Is alpen no added sugar a good option? i miss cereal so much and cant wait to work up the steps xx

yes thsi would be fine for step3 & 4 and then on step 5 add in some fruit or low sugar yog (total0% greek is a good one)

I love Crunchy Bran - loads of fibre in each serving although it's not completely sugar free so probably not suitable until on full maintenance. It's lovely mixed with Activia yogurt!! :)

I also love boiled eggs on rye bread (with a sprinkle of salt)

Oh and peanut butter (no sugar added) on wholegrain toast.

Food Doctor bagel with Edam cheese

I just love breakfast!! :)
