I chewed gum thoughout cd, its more about making you hungry than anything else, but if you can handle that then i dont see why not anything to help you is ok i think

Strictly speaking you should avoid chewing gum as it can get the gastric juices going and make you hungry. Having said that, Cambridge do say that if you really feel the need, just chew SF gum for a couple of minutes and discard :)

i wouldn't i was doing o.k and then started chewing gum and just got so hungry fell of the wagon!

Am I the only one who can chew gum and not feel hungry?? I find it helps me better.

I have to have a bit if I'm going to a meeting as I have the very worst dragon breath imaginable on this diet... but I find it does exacerbate any low lying hunger pains... but frankly I'd rather that than be called the DRAGON BREATH LADY!
It's unfortunate for me as it never fades, though in most people it's only transient!
