Chinese - what to eat

    Hi guys,
    I am less than a week into joining SW and I've a problem- I have to go out to a Chinese tomorrow (really can't get out of it) and I've my first weigh in on Thursday(!!) can anyone advise me what to eat (I am on extra easy and allowed max 15syns a day)

    Thanks a mill for this link, I couldn't find anything when I ran a search!
    Do you know how many syns chicken curry would be as it's not on the list ? Also, what would a veggie curry be?

    Your welcome! If you read a few posts down in that thread, someone asks the syn value for chicken/beef curry. It looks as though its about 6 syns :)

    oooooo i love chinese- if you stick to the main meals (if going to an all you can eat) you seem to get on ok its the starters that are the killer mini spring rolls and stuff lots of syns :s

    I did read that bit about the curry but then got confused as they mentioned it being for just the sauce and not the meat etc. But thanks so much for your help.

    Re the starter yes I think I would have to skip it. ?

    Egg fried rice: 4
    Plain noodles/boiled rice: FREE
    Chicken chop suey with noodles: 5.5
    Chicken in oyster sauce: 4.5
    Chicken/beef in black bean sauce: 5
    Chicken curry: 11.5
    Vegetable curry: 9
    Chicken chow mein: 7

    These are all per portion- so you could have egg fried rice and chicken chow mein for 11 syns :)

    How about satay chicken skewers (ask them to put the sauce on the side and then dont eat it) if the chicken is not fried that will be syn free i think. xx

    me too, going to stick to lots of noodles boiled rice and chicken curry.
