How do you guys pp your chips done in a brevielle halo? Or in the oven or deep fat fryer, we are having steak and chips for dinner but am not sure how to point the chips. xx
If you weigh your potato before you bake it, just use the rule 50g = 1pp then you don't need to weigh it again after it is cooked because the method of cooking does not add any calories. In the book for eating out etc the points are so high because baking a potato drains it of moisture and it ends up weighing less than it did when it went in, so when it went in it was probably 400g, which is where you would get your 7/8pp from. I hope this makes sense.
As for the breville halo fryers etc, I am not sure but if you do find out I would love to know
