Clothes size changes

Hi, I have lost 1st8lbs, but still have 3st9lbs left. My SW consultant says it is roughly 10lbs loss per dress size, but I am still wearing a size 16. Anyone else have this issue..

I think it's down to your body not lbs I've lost 1.5 stone an I have only just an all depends wear I go dropped a trouser size

Im the exact same @tara40 .....admittedly my clothes now fit me properly as opposed to them being snug ha but I haven't gone down a full dress size yet. I've lost 1St 6.5lbs...........

I'm exactly the same Tara, i'm still waiting for that venture into the next size down. My trousers for work are a 16 which are too big, but i can't fasten a 14 so i'm stuck hoisting them up for a while longer. It'll come though, to you aswell x

Me too. My trousers are so loose, but when I put size 14's on they almost look obscene.

I think it's down to the individual! I've lost nearly 2 stone and my top half has gone down but my bottom half is still a size 14, albeit I'm not pushing a 16 anymore but I haven't gone down a size yet! Fingers crossed another 2 stone will do it haha!

Same for me! 1st 3lbs down and although 16 is becoming too big (some jeans far too big actually) a 14 would still be far too small. Be nice to reach that next milestone though!

It's def different for all I say. We all see to be roughly same weight but different sizes. 16 trousers are too big on me - I'm a firm 14 (again!). That said, I do quite a bit of exercise so that be it for me.

Yes, different for all - I've lost 2st 4.5lb but I've only gone down one size in trousers (and some of my old size 22 trousers that i was wearing before still fit me comfortably, whilst others size 22s hang off me). I've gone down at least one size on top, maybe two, and an entire band size on my bra.

I've been frustrated at it not showing much in my dress size yet - but I can tell the difference in my collarbones area (they're starting to show through). Also in pics my face and top half look less bloated. I've taken measurements so I know I'm getting smaller - it's just not showing yet!! I think I must have stretched out some of my clothes / been at the upper end of my old dress size.
