I comfort eat too, but it's taken me this diet to realise it.
I don't smoke, drink or do drugs but I AM addicted to food. I eat when I'm happy, I eat when I'm stressed, I eat when I'm sad etc......
Interestingly I read that people who do have a found addiction tend to hide the food they eat. I didn't think I fell into that category until I realised that the chocolate and crisp wrappers in the car that I munch during the day in work always make it to a bin before my husband gets in the car next. And I often blame the children for the empty packets lying about.........
Food is just there all of the time, it's something I know I can turn to.
