Hi everyone

A quick introduction - I have been doing slimming world for the past few weeks and putting on and losing the same few lbs :sigh:

Anyway I have decided to start the Atkins diet as I did it a few years ago when I got married and lost 30lb in 7 weeks. I stayed on induction though unfortunately and once I was married, I didn't stay with the diet and move up the rungs, thus never learning a new way of eating.

I now know that I am quite carb sesitive as when I eat lots of pasta and potatoes etc I bloat and feel uncomfartable. I also barely lose weight by eating low fat high carb whereas I do lose weight eating low carb.

So....I got all my shopping in today ready for Atkins tomorrow. Can't wait to get started and see the weight melt away.
I'm really glad there are so many other people on here folllowing the Atkins diet as it's a brilliant diet and the support here is always great.

I know what you mean about the bloating with carbs, I always describe it as "I like them but they don't like me" :D
