creme freche/ fromage frais

hi, can anyone tell me is crème fraîche
the same as fromage frais? i can only find creme freche in my supermarket and so many recipies use fromage frais :cry:

no it's not. Fromage frais will be with yoghurts and creme fraiche will be with the creams (well, it is in my local Tesco!)
Creme fraiche isn't fat free, you can use it but it will be synned. The WW one is the lowest.

Nope, they aren't the same. I'm the same. I had an absolute NIGHTMARE trying to find the fromage frais. There are two Tesco Superstores near me and neither of them stocked it. Nor did the local Asda. Finally found it in Sainsbury's, so maybe you can get it there.

No sainsburys near me I'm in Ireland so have tesco 9 miles away and lydal and supervalue beside me
