Once a daily weigher, I think always a daily weigher!!!

I went to the trouble putting my scales in the garage, but forgot that there was another set in the other bathroom..... Got up this morning and started cleaning the bathrooms... walked into other bathroom, clocked the scales (I was still in my nighshirt!)

So what did I do but slip off my clothes and jump on the sodding things:doh:.... I weighed more:eek: than I did 2 days ago... Stepped off, told myself that scales all weigh slightly differently and went about my day.
Although I've been secretly mythering about this imaginary 'gain'... So, I can't stand it any longer, and I've gone to the garage got out my scales and they are on the bathroom floor, awaiting my attention first thing in the morning!!! By the time I got them out I'd had plenty to drink and my first pack... so I won't stand on them now.
I've put the other scales in the garage and I might even put mine back in there tomorrow, after I've discovered the 'truth' about my current weight!!!
Sometimes I really am my own worst enemy! :giggle:

    Hi Ali

I use to be the same as you!! I decided that enough was enough and it has now been two weeks since I weighed myself. I will weigh myself after four weeks.
I am calorie counting so it won't be as immediate as your weight loss, but I am trying to go by how I feel in my clothes.

There is no way that you should have put on weight, you are on sole source aren't you? Therefore throw those blummin scales out girl....

You have done absolutely brilliantly - fantastic weight loss. Now stop being so tough on yourself.

    Love
    Rosie xxxx

I am the same alipally. Every week I promise myself I will stay off the scales and only use the CDC's ones... but by the end of the week I am on and off them like a jack in the box. I don't think we'll ever change!

I like weighing daily. In theory. But in practice, lately I hate it. I'm house sitting from tonight til next Friday, so I'm tempted to leave the scales here as I know my sister doesn't have any! But I know I'll be intrigued. But I think I should probably leave them.

My name is Lisa and I am also a serial weigher!

And I have to say it does give me motivation. I think I have seen every digit the sclales could possible show from 16st to 11.7 3/4 (todays weigh in) I only weigh once and thats after a pee first thing in the morning. I don't weigh anyother time as I know that my weight does go up through out the day so I know then not to be dissapointed. I think it's something I will always do. I even took my scales on holiday with me!!! we were in our caravan mind......!

everytime I go in the bathroom :wave_cry: and I can change from morning till noon, and be totally different in the evening too

I know to look at it over a month, and yet I still do it - glad to know I'm not alone though :)

i have taken the batteries out of mine and put them away. was going to weigh next week but am feeling much better about the diet so think i'll try not to weigh for another 2 weeks (I'll be on 810) as the losses are much slower now so it's disheartening to see no movement on the scales on a daily basis.

    Too funny Lisa!!!

I've never taken them on hols with me!

Well, the plan is that I'll put them back in the garage tomorrow and not get them out again until weigh day!

My sis is my CDC, we work together, so my scales are THE scales.... which really doesn't help!

I tried putting them in the consulting room, but just ended up nipping down and stripping off in there!

I added a poll for fun!

I weigh once when I've just got out of bed (and only open my eyes to look at the scales) then again after the morning wee, then again just before I go to work, then once when I come back from work, and then finally just before I go to bed. Unbelieveable but I can't help myself..... my first goal is to weigh the same as my H2B. He weighs 11st 01lbs! ugh.

I'm a serial weigher, the scales I have are about 10lbs out so don't listen to what they actually say as long as they keep going down.

I have no scales at home. OH threw them out after i lost my temper with them (truly deserved if i might add) i mean there was no way i could have been that heavy!!!!!!!. the only thing we have at wi fit at home but i try to avoid the WI part if i can LOL.
The down side is that i have a set of clinical scales in my surgery. They sing to me all day and some days i give in. its always a dissappointment. i think they are trying to make me miserable !!!! LOL

i used to weigh myself when i first started, but then i got faith in the diet and trust that not only will the weight come off if i'm 100%, but also that if the clothes look good, then i'm happy! :D
