Weigh day is Monday, my scales are still not playing ball but I'm still 100 % SS so what will be will be :-(

I do recall my 2nd week is always a slow one but usually drops right on weigh day but I'm convinced TOTM is due next week so that may add to my frustration ? Blooming typical but even if it is it will only give me a bigger loss in week 3 so it equals it's self out x

Weekend going good :)

2 products down & 1 for later, I'm well and truly in The Zone regardless of what my bliddy scales say lol

I know at the moment nothing will tempt me and I have nothing planned for another 3 weeks, even then I will treat it as SS + or which ever step we are allowed a small meal, although I will still do my very best not to have anything at all if I can possibly avoid it !

So much more to look forward to and far to soon even for me to sabotage my own efforts so 110 % SS for me for as long as I possibly can.

Day 9, size 20 dress weight 16.2

Lots of great planning & plotting ideas ( enough suggestions to keep me busy )

Well this is it, day 9 almost over, its mental quite how fast the days go in fact its rather scary how the time flies by.

Another 100% SS day just me, my 3 products and almost 3ltr of water to keep me topped up.
Tried a tight dress today and asked daughter to take a couple of pics for ones to look back on, although I love my previous photos this is a new journey hence the new photos I may keep adding
Today's dress is a uk 20 and I'm currently topping the scales at 16.2 :-(

I know from previous Cambridge attempts that its only a matter of a few weeks before I will see massive changes :)
Anyone doing this for the 1st time a top tip is take selflie's as the results are what we are all after and looking at them are a great motivation.

Just placed a online order for a dress similar to the above for the party in 3 weeks, same kind of style but black background, praying it looks better than that one does and 21 days will make a difference, all be it not a huge change to my shape but fingers crossed enough to help me feel a little more comfortable. Hubby was going to take me to try it but turns out its a online exclusive so order placed and it will be in store to collect mid week ( along with a couple of other " bits " ) I'm terrible for shopping, clothes, shoes, bags anything so am trying not to spend to much at the mo as I know how fast sizes can drop but the stretch in the dress should see me ok for a while and it was far from expensive.
The party is in Glasvegas ( Glasgow ) I live outside Newcastle but visit my friends a few times a year, she has booked nail appt for the Friday afternoon and Hair appt for the Sat morning. My hair was past by bra at the back until around 5 weeks ago but my back problems have made it impractical e as I couldn't straighten or look after it properly so I've had a major chop and its super short, I don't feel as feminine but I do quite like it :) quite a big deal for me going out without my long locks :-(

Anyway enough of my rambling, just excited about starting to feel good again ! After all we all want to feel special on nights out etc.

Day 14 tomorrow of 100% SS & weigh in on Monday, super excited. Another great day today and feeling tip top,

Morning all at last They've moved in the right direction and I'm feeling ok about it. Doesn't look like a massive loss which some people have in their second week but JUST enough to keep me happy lol.
I guess I will know tomorrow at my official weigh in so I've not got to long to wait.

I have another 3 weeks off work still and I'm day 14 today so will be at least day 35 by the time I'm back at work and well into Cambridge mode even though I feel very settled already.

I think Mother Nature is due in the next couple of days although I'm never super regular my last one was around the 1st week in Sept so maybe that is reflecting on the scales.

I've enjoyed all of my products this week, shakes, soups & the good old porridge. I'm going to stick with getting NO bars for as long as I can because I have been known to binge on them in the past so I'm avoiding at the mo. I know eating makes me feel hungry so will stick with my trusty shakes.

Nothing much to report as early in the day but a thumbs up the scales are at last moving the right way.

Hope everyone has had a good weekend and the new week is almost upon us.

Well I couldn't help myself about the dress . . . . .it stated online exclusive in the web but popped into New look and its only a exclusive in the Inspire range so I tried a 18 in the normal range and am now unsure how much I like it :-(
Obviously fitting room lighting is dire and I had no make up on etc plus I've ordered a 20 so it won't be quite as clingy especially with 3 weeks still to go and me currently being pre menstrual . I think its a bit young for me. . . . . .
Maybe ok on holidays etc but I'm just not sure

Not the best photo and like I say this one is smaller than the one on order, my other dress I already have is a fab Julian MacDonald lace number, maybe I'm just being a snob :-( and want a more sophisticated dress ? Who knows, I will post pics in both during the week and you can all help me settle on which one lol

I never usually have a complex about such things so it could agin be me just being a bit hormonal.

Apart from The dress I've had another pretty darn good day and although I KNOW by my scales I've not got a huge drop tomorrow Im Still looking forward to weigh in at 11am :) I have hand on heart been 110 % and that's good enough for me.

87 days till NYE which is just over 12 weeks until we meet up with friends for our annual get together, can't wait to WOW them :)

Well ladies . . . . . . . That's it day 14 over that's 14 days 100% SS with not a single cheat.


As you know its my second weigh in tomorrow at 11am, I'm excited as I know I've stuck to plan but as I weigh daily I know roughly what my loss will be and its not a great 2nd week loss BUT I also know I've stuck to plan and what doesn't show this week ( as I'm due my TOTM ) will show next week.

Going to stick with my plan and avoid The bars, I'm in quite a good routine with water etc so I feel as though I'm cruising along nicely, just need the days to tick by lol

Constantly on here reading and lurking or on twitter & ********* all for motivation & encouragement.

Going to make a list of products for the week, I'm also getting 2 tubs of the Veg water flavouring to make a change from Tea and also a meals in minuets book which my CDC has on offer and will help me to future plan.

I've always known ( as documented in my previous diary ) that carbs are my down fall so planning is key to my future.
Thankfully I love lots of protein rich items such as eggs, wet fish & prawns along with tinned Tuna & chicken which all look to be my future diet stables once I'm where I want to be. I suspect like most my problem is without a doubt that I tend to go for the easy option and grab junk and processed foods as they are the fastest options. I'm the type of person to buy fresh but chopped veg for my slow cooker for family meals ( life's to short to chop a onion ) That's the other strange thing, I have no issue with prepping meals for the family and cooking for them BUT when it comes to me I always tell myself I don't have time to prepare lunch for work plus I know we have excess food for 1st class which we can nibble on so its not a necessity to take anything.
Unfortunately on one of my services we do afternoon tea which as you can imagine is no good for anyone's waist line. Since I started with my company my skirt has gone from a 16 ( small fit & 12 years ago ) to as big as a 24 although currently I can squeeze into a 20. At the moment getting back into a 16 is a dream it is however a dream I know I will make come true very soon :)
Prepping & planning is going to have to be part of my new routine once I get to The food stage. Hence buying the meals book already, the sooner I start to get my head around what I can & can't have the easier I will adjust when the time comes.

Some people struggle on SS but for me this is by far the easiest part, in fact for me its a no brainer . . . . . . . . I know in order to she'd the lbs I only NEED my 3 products and plenty water. I don't have a issue with this but put food in the equation and I'm a lost cause / WAS a lost cause, the new me is as I say going to plan and prep.
I know its not that easy, I know that all very well from my last successful journey BUT in my defence I seriously believe if we hadn't have went to Vegas on honeymoon and I didn't have such a HUGE gain whilst there I may have found it easier to move up the steps but after 6 months 100% on plan SS with the occasional SS+ meal my honeymoon was one almighty blow out , not just for me but also for US for me & my hubby so we could enjoy meals together like any normal married couple.
This time its about making choices . . . . . . I have Dec almost fully booked with trips away so I'm already planning what is the best way to approach them all. I will be 100% on some and not 100% on others, By Dec I will be a couple of stone from goal all being well so I need to prioritise life. I had already set my target at the start to be 11.13 by April 2015 and even with a few
" planned " breaks in Dec I WILL still be at goal for my holiday with Hubby.
This will be our 3rd visit to The Dominican in the past few years and whilst they are used to curvy ladies I WANT to feel comfortable on the flight. I want to go to the AI restaurants and choose the healthy options, the hard work is already done there for me as its all prepped and cooked, no excuse ! There are maybe 7 on the complex so plenty of temptation but also plenty of great healthy nutritious food along side of the not so good.

I'm aware I'm rambling again, Just sitting with my own thoughts with so much going around in there and having already re gained the weight once it is NOT something I will allow myself to do again !

Anyway like I say enough for this evening, I shall update my results tomorrow at weigh in,

I started wanting to loose 70 lb
Currently need to loose 59 lb
And fingers crossed tomorrow that will be even less I have 26 weeks until my holiday :)

Carbs are my downfall too and last time I lost quite a bit of weigh on slimming world I reduced my carbs and then I got pregnant and toast mad lol x

I think I've still got a couple of slimming world books so will look at the " red " days for even more options. I'm pleased you said that as its a extra tool to use in my planning :)
 
Yea their EE plan is good too, you can really bulk out your meal with veg/salad and I found after a VLCD (i did exante last time) it filled me up without the need of carbs x

It's certainly a contender for life after CD :)

I tried Exante once but couldn't get away with it x x

I've been and done SW, which is what brought me here! Lol. Potential for life after CD, but I've said to OH, I will be doing a sort of 5:2 diet - 5 good days, and two cheat days a week. So, two days a week I can have a takeaway or a pizza, and not beat myself up about it. I think in life, I will now always be on a "diet" but hopefully I will only be working on my 1/2st tolerance limit moving forward, rather than getting 5st down first!

Not used to a weeks groceries fitting in one carrier bag lol.

Got the veg water flavouring to try as I imagine with the bad weather on its way it bay be a godsend with hot water.
Meals in minutes book bought as another tool to keep me focused and obviously for planning ahead.

I've ordered a couple of books from Amazon, can't even think which ones but will post about them once they arrive but I'm throwing myself into this 100 %

Will update my profile & signature ASAP.
