Step 1 Sole Source Day 1 again, 6st off but 6st on !

Has anyone thought of a food intolerance test ? I think they are around £40 in my area but again its something I'm considering.

Numptymum I've had 3 tests and failed each time then gave up, not tried for at least 3 years so doubt I ever will now. Thankfully hubby and 1 daughter drive plus we have good public transport. Have you had any lessons ?

I'm kind of praying if I have it that it tells me to avoid carb foods which I'm convinced bloat me. I can line without chocolate but ooooooh I like a good cheese board :) don't have cheese often but would rather have that than a sweet dessert.

Was it a blood test ? How long did results take ? x

My hubby drives but when he's at work i'm stuck if I need to get anywhere and with 4 children under the age of 5 its manic catching the bus (not forgetting the rude bus drivers) and expensive getting the taxi. Hubby got me the provisional license form 6 months ago and I still havent filled it in lol I'm terrified x

Day 17 is upon me ( yes already ) I'm not quite sure how I got here so fast but here I am and still feeling very much in control & in the zone.

I've woken up this-morning with a terribly sore throat and don't want to leave my bed :-(
Our whole house has had it so now it looks like my turn, that in top of my back & PMT has given me the perfect excuse to get up, shower fresh onesie on and head downstairs to watch a Xmas movie ( seriously I recorded two at the weekend )!
Good old sofa day today.
I love trash TV and ITV be launches with new TOWIE & ladies of London which looks my cup if tea :) I know I need to get a life lol.

Anyway apart from the throat I'm doing grand, as you know I'm a daily weigher and the scales like last week have not budged since week 2 weigh in but this is what generally happens to me then they hopefully drop just before weigh in on Monday.

Hope everyone has a good focused day x x x

Oh, I love a good sofa day! I really wanted to watch the food network's Christmas shows at the weekend but OH made me turn it off - he said it's too early to be doing Christmas things!

Have all your books come yet in the post yet? Last night I cooked dinner for OH (it looked AMAZING - homemade egg fried rice with veggies) then I went back into the kitchen and made some pasta sauce and a chicken and chorizo stew for tomorrow night. Tonight i'm going to be making apple pies - one for tomorrow night, one for next week when we have friends coming for dinner. The toughest thing at the moment is not being able to even taste to check the seasoning/flavour's all right. Next week, i'm hosting a dinner party for friends and planning on making an amazing slow roast oxtail stew thing...i'll be sat with my little shake...couldn't care less though - losing and sticking with this diet is more important to me!

So after waking up feeling slightly sorry for myself I've now put a teeny bit slap on a bright top & instantly my mood has lifted. Note to myself to kick myself up my own ass if I start to feel sorry for myself ! Hubby's tea in the slow cooker, made the daughters breakfast and now waiting for them all to get home and cause the tea time madness lol. Bit background for those who don't know " me " . . . . . . At home it's myself with hubby he works as a bin man so he is home mid afternoon, daughter early 20's who is on maternity lives with us after splitting with her BF she's here with her 6 month old baby boy :) and my son almost 18 works in a school so they all tend to get home late afternoon and the house is good family chaos lol. I wouldn't want it any other way. We do have a older daughter who lives with her BF and two girls :) I've come to learn I will never have a show home until they all move out lol our lounge is currently like mothercare. Kitchen is also upside down as when daughter moved back we had to buy a dryer for baby clothes etc this has resulted in things being moved around and us now awaiting delivery of a new smaller table & chairs. Never a dull moment it's all go. Not to mention the sons GF has said it may be best if she moved in with us, it will go one way or the other either her here or him with her parents depending where she gets her nursing placement when she starts ( should be March ) We all get along great but I'm happy to admit I'm a control freak and like a certain kind of order :) With regard to me I'm early 40's, work on trains and have done so for 12 years. I love my job, I love to travel, 2 or 3 holidays a year plus weekends away :) I love shopping be it house goods or clothes & shoes. My other two big passions are reality TV & Xmas, I guess a physiologist would say I like escapism and I would fully agree :) I'm rambling again lol just think it's nice if we know the people behind the posts. Fell free to tell me all about you :)

Everyone say hello to Joseph.

He's my 6 month old grandson and today as pictured weighed in at a whopping 16.11,
Not much reverence except I've so far lost 16lb so he's a great little personal tool.
Every time I pick him up I know I've lost the same :)

Wonder what my loss will be next week & what I can equate it to lol x

Aww he's gorgeous and so cuddly. My youngest daughter (I have 4 children 3 girls and a boy aged 5, 4, 2, 15 months) was weighed in at 18lbs at her 1 year check but my son (the 2 year old) was the chubby one of my babys x
Atleast when you have lost another 16lbs you can imagine the weight of 2 baby Joseph's x

No it was a food allergy test that they were offering at a spa day I went to (champneys) it's an hour appointment they do the test and get the results there and then :)

That's so good that you have cute little reference point of your weight loss! :) xx

Ah, Angel, I love your cute reference! I might try and pop the dog on the scales tonight - he is about 10kg I think...I wonder how many of him i've lost?! Lol.

I love all your little insights - it makes us more rounded I guess and also, if you have a bit of a wobble, we know all about how your life works! How exciting to work on the trains - It sounds quite glamorous, and very unlike my job!

Hope you're having a lovely morning.

xx

Morning my lovelies.

Thanks to you all for popping by and for your responses. Xmas moves started Sat on Movies 24 but only 2 a week until Nov :) I've watched them all but they are great for easy watching.

FlickG, let me know if you manage to weigh the dog lol.

One of my books arrived today.

image-2536098715.jpg

Will start it in a bit, just a bit light but inspirational reading ( or so I hope )

Day 18 today ( I think ) still 100 %
Still very motivated.
My dress from new look arrived at store but it's not dressy enough for me for a party.
I promise to get photos in it soon but hubby has stripped the lounge now & the house is even more hectic than usual. I don't even think I'm going to wear the Julien macdonald one either. I have a " vintage " bling dress which I bought for our cruise in the summer, it didn't look good with all of my lumps & bumps but tried it this morning and I love it so at the moment that's now my front runner :)

My TOTM has still not arrived ( worked it out from our holiday and it should have been here Sat ) I certainly don't worry as I've had my tubes tied many many moons ago so it's just my age I guess lol. The scales as usual haven't shifted yet but no stress or worry just yet as I know they will.

Midweek is upon us ladies with the weekend almost upon us, that's another week closer to Xmas, another week closer to our goals so keep strong keep posting x x x

since the dog follows me into the bathroom ALL THE TIME, it might be a little easier to get him on the scales...he hates it at the vets though, so it might be a weigh me and the dog and subtract jobby. This isn't all to see how many of him i've lost though - I do need to know his weight to worm him! Lol.

Bought myself some advent calendars yesterday - I never liked the chocolate ones and like a nice picture version. I've ordered two - one for home, and one for the office! :) Getting excited already - i'm blaming you! haha.

can't wait to see a picture of you in the dress. Once this humungous spot has gone from my face, I might brave the camera for an updated photo!

Lol good luck weighing Jobby :)

I've not had a advent calendar for years but a friend messaged me about the benefit one :) pity it was £60 :) that's over a weeks worth of packs lol. x

Evening All,

managed to read a little of the book today " slimmer Charlie " great so far and very easy to read.
Lots of things I bet most of us can relate to . . . . . . . Childhood memories based around his mothers home cooking, the fab smells of grandmas cooking on a weekend etc etc not far into it but like it so will read a bit more once I have a quite moment.

The book will be read by the end of the weekend, If anyone would like it I am more than happy to post free of charge, its not a bulky book so its no hassle at all, the 1st to say they would like it can have it :)

Not sure if I said but today is 11 weeks to Xmas, 77 days to shred those lbs and feel a whole lot better in the festive season. Xmas is all very well but NYE is when I want to feel my best, not ideal a week after Xmas and with me having so many social events in Dec but one can but try and try I certainly will !

Decorating in full swing, hubby has done all of the stripping now and will start the woodwork tomorrow, ahead of the wallpapering and new blinds being fitted next week then its the nice stuff such as new light fittings, cushions etc :)
I know this isn't Cambridge but it all keeps me busy and my mind occupied searching for my " bits "

The weekend is almost upon us and mine will be spent as you can imagine clearing up after hubby and keeping him topped up with food and drink lol

Monday is my 3rd weigh in, that's 21 days 100% SS and I can't wait ! ( even though still no flipping drop on those pesky scales )

Here's to a good weekend for us all :)

Morning all,

day 19 today and a 5 lb gain this morning :-(

I've woken up with a couple of spots and know Mother Nature is 6 days late but looks like she's almost here ! 5 lb though ? Seriously ? Is that normal ? I've been 100% and it won't throw me off plan but flipping heck what a shock this morning as I woke feeling slimmer, blouse certainly looser etc so I have to admit to being more than a bit shocked. ( could it be that I weighed early 0645 )

Other than that I'm strangely freezing cold, something which doesn't usually bother me but the heating is on for the 1st time this winter.

Going to have a mug of green tea to calm me down lol

Hope everyone has a better start to the day than me ! ! ! !
