Evening all,

Just home ( almost midnight )
4810ml water today and on track with the addition of a bit egg :)

Same shift again tomorrow, My last full day before weigh in on Thursday.
Praying for even a tiny loss on the scales. 13.2 again this morning, doubtful of hitting the 12's Thur but I know I will by the end if the week.
I'm not going to stress as it's so blooming close I can smell it ! ! !

Going to bed dreaming of weigh in the next morning then wake up wishing the next day away. . . .

We are all so desperate to get where we want to be we spend our lives wishing it away lol.

Same shift at work so a few hours at home this morning, just enough time to pop chilli in the slow cooker for hubby and do a little housework.

Obviously nothing to report from last night lol

I know I'm due a drop as they've not moved for a couple of days . . . . . . . Bet it's the day after I get weighed lol.

So I've been stalking on here, I keep changing my mind about what I want to get to and how I'm going to get there.


Just less than 6 weeks until my holiday and I know obviously I will have awful gain after 2 weeks all inclusive, if you count our stay in London the night before and the day we get back I will be comp,Evelyn off plan for 16 full days. We have stayed at our hotel a few times and there are some fabulous healthy choices but as I'm on holiday it's part of a holiday to be " naughty "
I'm not going to kid myself and and say I will be good., After Vegas I'm pretty sure I gained 17 yes 17 lbs ! ! !

Here's my plan . . . .

Stick with SS as much as possible this month ( in reality I'm talking March ) , I have a full drinking and lunch day planned with work friends.

I also have 5 days away with my best friend, although we are both on CWP we both will eat and drink but won't go wild.

Overall by the end of March I will be happy to be around 12.7

April I need to be 100% SS as we go away April 7th, touch and go for being in the 11's but I'm going to give it all I have. I will still wear my planned bikinis ( not everyday ) but dear god it's a good job I have a kind hubby bless him.
We get back home Wed 22 April and I'm going to pray to be still in the 12's another long shot !

After our jolly straight back on the plan full steam ahead and I have nothing planned until May 12th which is a family meal for my sons 18th, ( 2 weeks after our return from holiday ) that will be my 1st time seeing mother in law since Jan.

After that I have 8 clear weeks with nothing planned ( that's a miracle for me lol )
Sat July 4th is drinks with friends whom I won't have seen in person since mid Jan so I would love to be in the low 11's.
the weekend after I have a charity black tie ball to attend so a fab new dress will be in order, the smaller the better !


I then have 3 weeks until a weekend in Amsterdam ( 31 July ) again this is with people I won't have seen for a very very long time, to be low 11's again would be fab.

Couple of weeks later I have a weekend in London . . . . Because of the events over the summer, sticking with low 11's would be great.

I then have almost 4 weeks to be super strict again and my ultimate goal to be in the 10's by Sept 10th would just be amazing.


I do keep having off days, both planned and unplanned BUT I think it's making it easier for me . . .
I'm in no specific rush to get to " goal " which keeps changing but I'm going to photo / print this as a reminder to myself . . .

I'm here for the long haul no matter which road my journey takes, I want to be slimmer and slimmer as the year goes on and to keep it off this time hence being in no rush.

I'm still thinking of a kind of 5:2 plan after as that is kind of what I do If I were to average it out, 5 good days and a couple of slip ups per week lol.
I know I could drop the weight faster if I cut back on social activities but that's just not me :)
I have a busy life like we all do and I blooming well enjoy it, my passion is travel and if I'm off work I just can't stay and stagnate hence days out and jollys which I just couldn't sacrifice for any plan.


I'm aware I'm waffling again. . . . . . . I'm also aware my plans are highly likely to change but today this is how I feel.

I'm on a very late start on Sat and off on Sunday so I've txt hubby ( we are like ships in the night lol ) I've said I will walk with him BOTH Sat & Sun, he generally does 12 miles per morning so that will be great for starting to tone my legs.


Off to get sorted for work, sorry to bore you all but I like to keep a record of my thoughts so I can look back x x x
 
I love your forward planning I really do. Plus you sure do have a busy jam packed social life wow!!

Ive sampled the 5:2 plan and it works a treat with food and without for the 2 days fasting. Xx

Is this as a result of all of my faffing of late with not knowing what to do/move forward with?! You certainly have a lot planned lady! my life goes: Hen do, end of march, wedding end of may, and that's about it! haha.

Are you thinking of setting yourself a "top target" weight to start on doing a 5:2 or when social things get busier? Are you going to stick with SS between events and go in and out of Ketosis, or do more reduced calories/step 2 kind of thing?

Sorry - I'm asking you loads of questions!

Oh, and well done on the walking with OH - i'm sure it'll be lovely to spend some time together and do exercise too.

Wonderful to read your post Kat and love the planning ahead. I can see you achieving your ultimate goal and think 5:2 would really work for you . Don't think you waffle at and and yeah maybe you will chane your plan along the way but yes you've a life to live. Xx
 
Thanks ladies, I don't plan on switching From CWP until I'm happy at a much lower weight, what that weight will be I'm not exactly sure lol.

Flick, your posts always make me think as I know how hard it is once we get comfortable with our new shape & size, you've done and are still doing fab, I love your enthusiasm and passion for good home cooked food not to mention your new found passion for running :)

Kira, I'm so conscious after last time that I don't want to fall off the weight loss wagon, I just think I will be on some form of " diet " forever so I'm just musing all of the options.
As much as I love slimming world once I introduce real food I tend to go wild but I do think something like the 5:2 would be ok for me. Mon to Friday good, weekends not so good :)
It would certainly fit around my activities and outings plus I can switch the days to what I'm doing / working each week.

I've ended today around 4800 ml water, 3 products and not a thing else, rather hard this evening as PTA if hot food left over at work but I'm resisting and giving today my best shot as weigh in is tomorrow.

I'm convinced I will be the dreaded 13.2 and that's fine as I was 13.13 last time she weighed me 26 days ago so even if it's 13.2 I can cope with a nice 11 lb drop as I had the weekend away etc for valentines.

Will update as soon as I've been.

Your planning sounds fab, and it does sound like 5:2 will suit you - this is the sort of principle I will be working with too in the long run - being well behaved during the week, and then being a little more relaxed at weekends - that way, we still get to enjoy life!

Just back from weigh in . . . . . I knew I wouldn't see those darn 12's but I will by the end of the weekend. Official weigh in was 13.1 :-(

I can cope with that, just short of 4 st off so far, super happy if I'm honest. It's 26 days since she last weighed me and since then I had a meal and night out with the girls, 3 days away with hubby and a couple of blips so to be just short of a stone is pretty damn good and I know I will see the 12's by the end of the weekend.

My friend is looking fab, I've not seen her for a few weeks and can see a big difference, she even looks younger. She's lost more inches than me this month but not as much weight. We are completely different shapes so no tough competition if that makes sense, great support ( believe it or not I can't get a word in as she's even more enthusiastic about it lol ) super proud of her. I may not see her now until 23 March, we have 5 days away together . . . . ( No doubt we will have Copious amounts food and drink ) She doesn't know where we are going bless her. It's a little treat as she's a very very good friend, always there in a crisis and she doesn't get away as much as me so we try to have a few little trips a year, we've never had 5 days together though.

So here I am back and like I say m very happy with the loss for the month, supping my coffee and water before I get ready for work, we have a group booking of 75 children on one of my trains today so I shall be super busy lol. I need to keep on the straight and narrow as I won't see CDC now until after my April holiday as I have products left and with the 5 days away I have way more than I need.
Mission holiday is well and truly underway . . . . . . . Just wish I didn't have the 5 days away just before it lol,

There must be something about the 12's! I thought I would never get there. I think it took me 3 weeks in the end ... And that's without any of plan days. Torture! Fingers crossed for you for tomorrow!! x

Dreaded scales still at 13.1 but like I keep saying it won't topple me as I know they will drop.
Not long been up so a nice long sleep last night and I plan on doing a nice long walk with hubby tomorrow morning AND Sunday morning. I don't class it as massive exercise as I walk lots with work etc but a brisk constant 3hr both days will certainly help to start to tone up my legs.

Not the best pic but I tried one of my old trusty favourite dresses yesterday ( a classic Julien Macdonald fitted shift dress ) as I'm sure most of you know I love his stuff from Debenhams, great for nights out and holiday stuff . . . . . I can't wait to have another spree, the stuff is just so blooming flattering for my shape and classic but with a modern twist ( in my humble opinion lol )
As the scales aren't playing ball I'm looking at other ways to make sure I keep motivated and looking at photos and trying clothing is a great way to help keep me on the straight & narrow.
I've tried several " bits " from 2012 ( my last CWP journey ) I didn't keep a lot of slim stuff but do have some favourites and its great that I can just about get things on, they may not look as good as they will but its a fab feeling to see the changes.

I picked up another months products yesterday which will now be enough to see me to 22 MAY, I have lots of extra products from all of my off plan weekends etc and 22May gives me 4 weeks after my holiday to get weight off before I see CDC, when we land back at GTW I have 3 days before I go back to work so I NEED to get straight back into it as soon as I get back, this was where I went wrong after Vegas in 2012 so it is a massive test for me but I have so many fab things going on in the summer and I want to be slim ! ! ! ! !
I did pick up some different bars and really enjoyed the orange one last night at work ( reminds me of Jaffa cakes ) I'm taking the malt toffee one today ( another one I've not had for a long while )


The weekend is upon us and it can be a testing time, after my walk tomorrow with hubby I'm on a late start 1730 to 2330 so not a long shift ,
Fingers crossed I don't ache too much at work lol,

UPDATE


On the plus side I'm up early to do my walk BUT the reason I had a bad day is my oldest granddaughter was taken into hospital via our local GP last night just as I was almost in London :-( we were mega busy at work and literally I was just stressed :-(

I was there when she was born and am always there when they are poorly etc, its her 1st stay in hospital and my daughter is pregnant so I was / am stressing about them both, now my phone has died and is on charge ( I'm using iPad )

No walk until its charged as I track my walk.

Gutted about my binge as I was doing so blooming well but I shall walk it off as soon as phone is charged and fingers crossed the excess is off by tomorrow / Monday.

Grandmas princess is awaiting further blood results and has and has a very high temp, they did initially think appendicitis but are not sure now . . . . Kids are such a work !

Anyway will do walk as soon as phone is charged and will update on the princess and the walk x x
