Hey There
Well after messing around with one diet and another I am back with CD - i am of course kicking myself because a friend and I started in Aug of last year and i lost 9lbs in first week and give up and she lost just 3lbs but persevered and yes you guessed it is now something like 7 stones lighter!
So I got on the scales today, knowing full well how heavy I am - i am reminded each time I bend when my knees groan in protest that I am much much too heavy and of course hubby and I are now thinking we would like to start a family and I suspect that my weight may cause problems.
In the short term I have holidays and a wedding in July that I would like to feel better for!
Grateful in advance of anyone's help/advice and of course am totally up for handholding!
I need to lose around 7-8 stone
Anybody else starting and fancy buddying!
Love and hugs and hope those that weigh in today do well

Hi :)

I am returning to cambridge too after being on it approx 1 1/2 yrs ago.

How are your first few days going? still hanging in there ?

I found my first day quite good, had a few hunger pangs early after noon that lasted for a couple of hours and the same again at 10pm til around 11.30pm.

I am most of the way through day 2 of SS and feeling hungry again now, so gonna have some more water, i dont drink tea or coffee so feel at a bit of a loss as to what else i could drink for variation but other than that i am doing ok.

Good luck with your weightloss journey

Hi! I've just started my first day of Cambridge today too on SS.

I did do Cambridge three years ago & just got down to a healthy BMI, but it all crept back on again - was in a bit of denial about it until I had to go clothes shopping for a friend's wedding recently

So here I am, back for a second time, but this time determined to stick with it and more importantly do the stabalisation and maintenance periods too!

My hubby and I are also planning on starting a family, been trying for six months with no luck - know it's early days yet but like you can't help thinking that the excess weight could be causing problems.

Am dreading the next couple of days, but know that part doesn't last long thankfully!

Good luck with the SSing!

Hi and welcome back :)

I did the same last time, didnt follow all the way through to maintenance (paying for it now)

All the weight i lost and more back on now, someone took a pic of me recently and i got a real shock, been covering up in bigger clothes and doing the whole denial thing too.

Good luck to you.

hey njbelle

You shouldn't feel like a moron atall!!! Your doing really well sticking to it during the day, it takes awhile to adjust and your already half way there, try finding ways to keep yourself occupied in the evenings... lots of people on here struggle at dinner time so they have bubble baths while their families eat! CD is definatly alot of trial and error so dont beat yourself up, just take it day by day!!
i did well my first week then spent five days of week two picking in the evenings after been good all day! So ive started cooking my OH dinner the minute i get home from work then i just wander round the house tidying up or spend ages doing pedicures and manicures (my nails have never looked so loved before!!) anything to pass the time cause if I sit in front of the telly i get bored and eat...so the last two days have been good cause ive managed to keep myself occupied til bed time lol!
Ive also been havin my mint choc shake warm in the evenings I find it more filling and very yummy! I got engaged on Sunday so now I have the motivation I need to stick with it, i want to wear a size 10 wedding dress not a 16 lol!!!
best of luck for today:)!! xx

Don't put yourself down. You can do it again, you did before. Just make a commitment to do one day ay a time.
My first week on re-start was hard but something has clicked after a year of messing about.
Good luck x
