Hello!
I'm on day 11 SS, havn't cheated, have lost 13lbs, feeling very pleased with myself
Today I woke up with incredible burning in my stomache, sore throat and sniffles. I think I may have caught flu from my significant other who has been vomiting and streaming with it for the last week.
I am currently on strong painkillers Tramadol & Paracetamol (max dose) for a spinal disc protrusion so I'm hoping this cold/flu won't last long. I'm scheduled for spinal injections into the disc within the next 2 weeks and need to be well as I can't be sneezing and coughing whilst the surgeon is trying to put huge needles in my spine under x ray control
Whats the best thing to do? Carry on with the diet or stop. Why is my stomache burning sooooo much? I was thinking that it's because my body needs more calories to fight the infection. I have had 2 litres so far today in a fairly short space in an attempt to stop the burning, but no, it hasn't worked!
Any suggestions?:wave_cry:
