Congratulations! Stick with it and it'll get easier! :)

Good luck we have the same start weight. I lost 8 pounds in week one, two people at school asked me if I lost weight this week, I cannot believe it especially as I have seven stone to loose

Day 4
Yesterday was a real test!! BBQ for the family and I sat there with a shake very very tempted but I resisted!! Had a few txts from my lovely consultant.
I had really bad breath! Lol so today I'll be brushing my teeth every time I go the loo!
Weigh in is good Friday for me so it is more than a week since I started really nervous but looking forward to it!!!

Wow you are so strong to resist at the BBQ! Very impressive! :) As you keep this up your weigh-in on Friday should be really good! Keep drinking the water - I'm finding that it is one of the main keys to success!

Silly question, it says you should drink 2.25 ltrs, how do you know if you have drank your daily limit ? And if you drink more is that bad ? I drink approx 4 large glasses of water in work and think that's about 2 litres .??

Try buying ltr bottles of water or 500ml ones and just refill and keep a track that way! I drink 3ltr a day and I think the more water u have the better loss u will get! If u are drinking pints of water out of a glass u will need 5 pints to make 2 1/2 ltrs gd luck xx

Water is critical to people on CD. You get a lot of water from the food you eat (I understand up to 50-60% of your daily intake). As we're eating packaged foods, we're not obtaining enough water. Also, as we're not eating a lot of carbs, we're low on fibre. As a result, we need 2.5+ (I drink 3+ ltrs) of water per day to make sure we stay hydrated and that all our organs, including our digestive tract, get the water they need to function properly. Losing weight very quickly increases the possible risk of developing gallstones, but having enough water can help prevent that as well. Not to mention, the water helps you feel full and flushes impurities out of your system.

:) Drink up!

I have been informed to drink 4 litres....from my CDC...
I have a litre bottle and refill throughout my day.....

Sent from my iPad using MiniMins

If you have a iPhone waterlogged is a free app where you can track your water intake throughout the day ! It's a great help and VERY easy to use :)

Wanted to add a little motto. . . . . .

The more you drink , the more you shrink !

How did you get on with your weigh in yesterday, Lancsgirl? Fingers crossed it was a good one for you!
