day 3 and i'm feeling sick,,

    todays day 3 and i'm not feeling to well,,past 2 days i have had tons of energy lots of cleaning,,,but today i cant seem to get off the chair and i feel like throwing up,,kids still need to be dressed,,lol,,and then the weekly shop,,any tips please,,

    dress the kids, go shopping but take it easy, you probably over did it and you just cant over do it on this diet initially, relax a little, infact be a a couch potato while you can, cheer up and chin up. x

    Lots of water honey and maybe some paracetamol? Loads of rest as you are prob not in ketosis yet and its hard work at first! Get some1 else to do the shopping too..send the kids when they have dressed themselves lol xxx

    Oh and maybe try splitting your packs into smaller more frequent shakes xx

    Hope you are feeling better today, we all go through that first real bummer, I could hardly walk for 3 days, it does get better, HONEST!!!!! :) x

    Stick with it hun i am on day 6 and trust me day 3 was the worst it shows u are going into ketosis and its a hard phase but by the end of the day you should start to feel a bit better i could not even take the kids into school and hubby had to come back from work to do it and MIL picked them up but i managed to cook dinner etc feed baba and put everyone to bed so its short lived but once you cross over it does get easier i just hate the feeling cold business

    hang in there it will pass::(i felt the same on day 5 and 6,just go with wat your body wants(not food lol) rest.take it easy,was so tempted myself last night to break it,cooked a meal for my family,of i miss chicken i know of all the things i could miss. im obsessed i dream about it and all.:p am gonna have my first shake now might try vanilla shake with coffee hot,mad eh lol..

    just remember why your doing it and try to think positive and that this is only a passing phase..and like everyone has said, dont overdo it..listen to your body and take it easy :)

    thanks so much guys,,got the kids dressed and off to school did the shopping and feelin so much better now,,im in love with listerine strips,,i got all excited when i found them in the chemist,,lol,,just made peppermint tea too,,smells yummy

    This is the switch phase......it was the worst day for me. The day the carbs finally run out and your body is trying to get into ketosis...........not long now hun and it will be a lot easier. Stick with it.x

    I know how you feel hunni, its a bit like a roller coaster, i am up and down energy wis all the time
    Do absoultely nothing, snuggle up and watch a DVD or have a nice daytime sleep (think i will be doing the latter b4 the kids come home);)

    oh i'd love to go to bed and just lay there,,as i'm not sleepin to well,,but 2 yr old has other ideas lol
