Day 5

A lot of first week losses are due to the water you lose as your fat stores are beginning to be used and glycogen being pulled from your muscles for energy. I did read like 1lb of fat carries 1.5 lbs of water or something like that, so you start to lose the excess water really quickly in the beginning. It still looks great when you look in the mirror though! Well done on keeping to it!
 
When you really look at it, it is technically easier to lose weight than it is to put it on. It's all the emotional baggage that makes it so much harder to us! If you stick to it 100% you should lose a stone a month. I need to lose 3 stone by September 1st!
