    Hiya everyone

Ok so its day 2 of being in SS and i dunno i dont feel hungry or anything like that but i do feel a little down. I dunno why coz i am sooo happy and proud of myself that i have even lasted a day and i am so determained to get to my goal weight. My nanna bought me a cream cake when i popped to see her on my dinner and of course i didnt eat it which made me even more chuffed and proud. I'm still feeling a little down tho and i dunno why eeek!!

Even people at work asked if i was ok coz i was to quiet (coz i never shut up lol) i am always happy and chatting and laughing about something but today i just didnt seem in the mood  i didnt notice it till they ask me if i was ok and i thought to myself 'humm i have been a bit down today i wonder why that is?' I dunno i feel fine in myself no bad heads or feeling hyungry so i am fine really just dont seem my happy self. I love this diet tho and i am REALLY enjoying doing it.

Ok forget all that, this post dont really make much sense lol i dunno what i am trying to say or how i feel LOL lets hope i have a better day 2morra :p

Hope you all had a lovely day hehe xxxx

When i first started the diet i felt exaclty the same !!
even tho i was happy i was doing the diet and pleased with myself, during the first week you think WHY ??
and then you have too remind yourself your doing it for you and nothing else, and then the first weigh in came and i was soo happy the sadness dissapeared, dont worry its perfectly natural what your going through just stick it out and i promise you it will get better !! dont listen to the voices in your head either !!

    Good Luck
    you CAN do it

    Hi Tasha

I know exactly what you mean. I re-started this Jan, having kept off over 2 stones that I lost last year. But on each start I just feel a bit odd and out of sorts until I get into the swing of it. Sometimes I feel bloated and even larger than I am in the first week - that could be because I am having more fluids - even my 'meals' are fluid. But this time round I lost at least 11 pounds after my first weigh-in (2 weeks into CD) which I was delighted about, given that my current BMI is in the overweight category.
You have sounded like a fun person in your posts so I can understand why people are wondering whats making you a little subdued. It will pass and you will certainly feel like your usual self once you have experienced the delight of the first week weigh-in.
How about a nice bath this evening - I do foot spas with a little aromatherapy oil. I have just booked myself and a friend (who has had weight problems in the past and is very sympathetic) into cheap seats at a comedy play next Friday, so how about funny cinema/dvd/theatre etc to look forward to with a mate/the girls, in the near future?

Just remember, these feelings are only temporary x

Aw thank you soooo much blingbabe, yes i think i will have a long shower and pamper myself alittle tonight then snuggle into my pj's and watch the soaps with Andreas :D I am defo looking forward to my last soup.

Its weird coz i have no idea why i feel a little bit down i just do  as you say i am sure once i hit the scales this week it should perk me up :) I am off to have a look around the shops 2morra with my nan and go into all the shops that have skinny size 10 clothes in and pick out what i will buy when i am slim hehe! I might even buy some thing a size smaller than i am so i feel happy when i get into it n a month or so :p

I normally meet the girls on a friday at the pub or around at a mates house for a catch up and a giggle but i didnt go this week as it was pub night and i dont think i could cope with sitting in a pub with water at the moment haha. Very good idea to book something fun to do so i have my mind on something else :)

I guess it does not matter how excited you are about the diet and how much you have your mind set in the right place... its still a dam hard diet which i have found out today, everyone here should be sooo proud of them selves that they are doing it and losing weight

Thank you sooo much for your post <3 xxxxx

Yep, I had noticed from another post that you have a regular Friday night with the girls. Once you are settled into CD, firmly in ketosis and clocking up fabulous weight losses, you will be able to make a clear decision as to whether you want to be in a pub with sparkling water (somehow better than still when socialising?!) or if you need to arrange other kinds of entertainments. I have gone through different phases, such as happily breezing along in a restaurant with my friends enjoying Thai food and cocktails etc whilst I have an oriental chilli soup (well, at least I was themed!) and a strawberry shake (my version of dessert) but as I progressed with CD I no longer wanted to be around people socialising with food/alcohol. You will know what best for you!
Your evening in sounds great, I'm doing the same (but not with your Andreas, lol!)x

I don't think we can help feeling a bit 'deprived' and having that 'why me' feeling at the start of the programme. We all use food as a comfort to some degree or other and there's also a big emotioal adjustment when we start CD. I was very tearful yesterday and feeling a bit sorry for myself but today I feel great.

Hang in there Tash, it will all be so worth it and that down feeling will pass! xxxx

    Hi Tash

Hope your feeling better hun - I've had a wierd afternoon feeling out of sorts and snappy! Like you I normally go out with friends on a Friday night to the pub - am thinking could be that as I'm not going as they'll think I've gone bit mental refusing alcoholic drinks   I don't drink at all at home but do have quite a few on a Friday night!!

Cant be doing with all the pub judging either about my choice of diet so decided its easier to stay home!
Guess i'll miss the social side the most though x

    Hi Tasha,

Sorry to hear you're feeling down hun.

I felt exactly the same on days 2 and 3. My colleagues asked me what was wrong cos I closed my office door (something I never do usually). I was feeling so emotional that I thought I might either cry or rip somebody's head off if they said the slightest thing to me :( By day 4 I'd hit ketosis and was back to my normal self though.

Would your friends consider doing anything else on a Friday night so that you can still have your catch up? There are a few of us doing various diets, so we're making plans to go bowling - those who want to drink can, and the rest can stick to water but still have a laugh. In the past we've also gone to a local beauty spa. They do party packages for about £20 a head where we got to use all the spa facilities and they laid on non-alcoholic drinks as we lazed in the jacuzzi. Bliss :D

For tonight tho, give yourself some tlc. Curl up on the sofa in your pj's, take control of the remote control and make Andreas give you a lovely foot massage lol ;)

    Take care hun xx

Hehe thanks Trash and Redhead :D

Sorry to hear you have been out of sorts too Trash, hope your feeling ok now. I also like a nice drink at he weekends, i aint a big drinker but on a friday i do like a bottle of vino or two with my mates :D I am sure they would not mind doing something different if i told them i was on the diet but i really dont want to. I want them to see me losing weight and be like ''wow tasha have u lost weight'' haha. When i did LL i made a huge mistake and told them and when i had to stop it made me feel much more of a looser and quitter. I am not going to make that mistake again. I just want them to notice i am losing weight ~giggles~ Staying home is the best idea tonight.. watch the soaps and snuggle into my hunk :D

Redhead thank you so much, glad to hear of other people have went through or is feeling down so early in the diet (thats sounds wrong i dont mean i am happy people are felling down haha) as i thought i was the only one. I thought feeling down would come later after i had been on it a few months i didnt expect it to early on because i am soo excited to be doing it and really happy to be on it.

I did not want to be left in the house on my own 2morra when my BF is at work so my nan ask me to go shoping at the Metro Centre in Newcastle with her to get me out and about and take my mind off things... should be nice. If i did stay home i would just end up thinking about something in my fridge and it would be hell for me lol.

Pfft LOL a foot massage i wish. He is to busy watching the soaps... he is worse than a woman with his soaps LOL. ALL thanks to me of course haha :D xxxxxx
