So, my sister in law has lost a staggering 8.5 stone on slimming world, and to be honest I was and still am amazed at her success, and decided I want a piece of that action. for the last year, I have been calorie counting and it was working. Overall I lost 35lbs, but after being diagnosed with pernicious anaemia (and being off work for a month) I have managed to put on 10lbs. I couldn't find the motivation to restart the calorie counting so sat on the sofa on Saturday night I decided I would take the plunge and sign up to slimming world online. I won't lie, it's the wrong time of year (I am out five separate times this week for dinner!) but my theory is at least I can make good choices on the days I am not out; and the days I am out at least I am educating myself so come January 1st I will be on it and completely clued up. So as I am confused, somewhat but healthy extras (do you have to have them?) and the fact I just seem to be eating... I decided I would log a diary on here (hope that's ok) and some of my thoughts.
