Wednesday 6.8.14

hope everyone if well today. Its a late start for me this morning so ive done a few chores around the house as I'm at Andy's tonight so didn't want to leave Dan with a bomb site.

I have just had an early lunch to save carting it all into work with me and I have prepped tomorrows lunch to take with me to Andys.

Sneaked a peak on the scales this morning and it's showing a lb loss so far, will be happy with that since ive been to a wedding at the week end.

Ok Wednesdays dinner eaten I had chicken breast baked with jerk spices, new potatoes and sweet corn with salad and a tbsp of low cal mayo.
 
Thursday 7.8.14

I just want to say in 12 weeks I have just eaten the worst dinner ever....fact....

got in from work, lifted out battered fish for Dan, thought I had some in, didn't so nipped to do a quick shop at asda with mum need potatoes to to make sw chips. I ended up buying salmon, got home and realised I hadn't bought potatoes to make the chips. Made dan fried frozen chips so he was ok, looked through cupboards and thought what the heck can I have with salmon cos i'm starving. Ended up making pasta n sauce cheese and broccoli....bl@@dy awful combination and pasta n sauce is disgusting....:sign0137:

rest of day has been naff to.

yukky stuff...see above.

Weigh in tomorrow, hoping for at least a pound loss :fingerscrossed:
 
Friday 8.8.14 weigh in day

Morning slimmers....

lost 2lb this morning taking me to 13.3 lowest I've been in 10 years, looking forward to breaking the door to the 12's in the next week or 2. I know I will meet my target of 13 stone for the end of the month. I seem to be on track, so hopefully I will hit my goal of 11 stone for Christmas then I can re asses how I feel and whether I want to go any further.

Off out for lunch today with a friend from a different prison, we do the same job and started at the same time and not had a catch up for a few weeks due to being soooooo busy lol. Not sure what I am going to eat whether to be on plan or be a little lenient, I have had fruit and greek yogurt for breakfast which gives me a little more choice for lunch.

Oh, I've just passed me ten year barrier too! How surreal does it feel?

Had to photo the food it was yummy to the eyes and the tummy lol. I had chicken and pepper kebabs served with salad and rice instead of chips with peri peri sauce on side. Under 500 cals not that I'm counting cals but fits into SW easily :)

It was yummy.

Andy surprised me with dinner last night he had googled a slimming world reciepe so we had paprika pork with rice except we had no paprika in after shopping ingredients so we did chilli instead.

Red pepper
Onion
Paprika/chilli
Stock
Fat free fromage frais
Served with vegetable rice

Was lush...x

Wednesday 13.8.14

Just realised it's 3 days since my last post, I haven't been that busy as I'm on leave but I have been out and about with my mum and nephew who I don't see very often as he lives in Western super mare with his witch oops I mean mother.....

A quick back date of food if I can remember, it has all been on plan except that Sunday Andy made the most amazing Pork Crackling oh my god it was flipping delicious I ate more than I should of it but hey ho....

Ok so Sunday was a full on breakfast of bacon, Sainsburys BGTY sausage (0.5 syn) tomatoes, beans.

Lunch was 2 wholemeal 400g bread, ham, tomato and scrape of low cal mayonnaise (0.5 syn)

Dinner was roast Pork, carrots, broccoli, green beans, SW roast potatoes, gravy (2 syns) Crackling (oops....)



Monday was hot porridge made with semi milk from breakfast

Lunch was pasta pot shot thingy (not sure if these are free or not), fruit salad with fat free fromage frais

Dinner was Roast Chicken, SW roast potatoes, carrots, broccoli & gravy (2 syns)



Tuesday was hot porridge made with skimmed milk

Lunch was crab stick salad with a tbsp of lowest fat free mayo (1 syn)

Banana

Dinner was bacon, scrambled egg, baked beans, tomatoes

I think I am now up to date.....


My son has also decided he wants to follow this with me, he is impressed that I am losing so much with not too much effort he hasn't told me what he weighs but has said that it's in the 20's....his WI is on a Tuesday so I'll post his losses so I can keep track for him.

Ok just so I can keep on track with my updates....I have been shopping in Next and chuffed I've bought a size 16 dress...:banana dancer:I will be wearing it on Sunday. Can I just say though most of you will get this....I ordered a size 20 and an 18's which arrived today, I tried the 20 first big, I tried the 18 and thought yep...then I thought I wonder if a 16 would fit. I took the 20 back to the store, left the 18 at home, tried on the 16 in the store and it fitted better than the 18's so I bought the 16's and will return the 18's tomorrow. I still don't have faith in trying the smaller sizes first it''s really strange.

Dinner - not yet decided - I have made a SW chilli for Dan tonight, plus 2 portions to freeze for him for the weekend.

I'll be at Andy's so not sure what we'll be having I suppose i'll decide when I get there.

I have stocked up on 'kids' fruit for Dan - he's nearly 21 lol but he's not a lover of fruit so if he can just have a small fruit it's better than non.

Just been looking through Pete's recipes that I can make tomorrow, I think we might try the SW pizza since both Dan and I's favorite food is Pizza.

I always go for the bigger sizes first. But mega happy if the smaller one fits!:D

hi there guys, just getting round to an update so this is going to be quick

Breakfast was hot porridge

Lunch was home made SW chilli (see pic, it was soooo delicious)

Dinner was late as I picked Dan up from work and took him to my friend David for his hair cut he's gone from below shoulder length to really short lol 2 an half year since David last cut it for him....he looks so much better. Any way I had a pack of Sushi bought from Morrisons this morning.

Snacks have been a banana and muller light yogurt, afraid I've had no salad but the chilli had carrot, onion, tomatoes etc.

Weigh in tomorrow, hoping for at least 1lb I don't think I'll get the 3lb I would love to get but that is fine x

Friday 15.8.14

Friday is here again....weighed in this morning and another 2lb loss, I am now 1lb off my interim goal of 13 stone. Each week that I lose (13 weeks out of 14 as I had one STS which had to be an early weigh in) I am amazed, I stick to plan 100% 100% of the time, I have not missed out or feel deprived once which is brilliant. Slimming World definitely works lol.
