Monday 20.10.14

Ok food today

Breakfast - banana n strawberries (Super free)

Lunch - 3 wholemeal bread with coleslaw, tandoori chicken and tomato, 0% fat free Activia yogurt

Snack - 3 pink and white wafers (not realising they were 2.5 syns EACH...) (7.5 syns)

Dinner - fish, SW chips and peas n sweetcorn

whoa didn't know pink and whites were that high!

Nothing wrong with relaxing the plan a bit. Too much restriction makes me miserable. Some fab food there☺

Thanks Sweetie, I'm not getting bored but sometimes you just want what you want lol....pizza is my favorite junky food so as long as it's not too often and I share and fill with salad I suppose it's balanced...as for the pink and whites I won't be going there again lol, good but not that good I'm sure I can find something else that's more satisfying.

Tuesday food

hot porridge

salad with 2 fingers of sandwiches at a buffet at work (was starving)

banana and mug shot when I got home

chicken wrapped in parma ham with jacket potato and salad with a little bit of veggy rice

Ok it's Friday again, where is the time going????

Todays weigh in I really wanted to have hit my personal target of being 12 stone but alas I got 1lb again which means I'm 12stone 2lb I know I know....it's not a million miles away from being there it's just personal to me :(

I have one last Friday weigh in to go and I would really like to get that 2lb off so that firstly I hit my October pledge on here of 7lb and secondly I'll get that 12 stone goal.

Anyway aside from that it's my son's 21st birthday on Monday, my god I really don't know where them 21 years have gone or how we've survived lol....Dan and I have been on our own since he was 8 when I split with his Dad after nearly 10 years of hell, my personal life went on hold for 10 years so that I could make sure he was always my priority and you know what I am so proud of him he has never brought me a days trouble, we've not always seen eye to eye especially when at 15 I noticed he'd stretched his ears....the holes....then at 17 I noticed a tattoo...what could I say I had them....but we got through onto the other side.

Tomorrow (Saturday) we are going out for a bit of a posh meal, Dan didn't want a party, We are also introducing Andy's mum to my family (well the family that matter to me). Andy and I have been together for 3 years - when Dan got to 18 and was self sufficient in his own right I joined a dating site and met Andy those 10 years were certainly worth the wait I have the most amazing man. Anyway I am looking forward to my son, mum, dad, brother, nephew, uncle and his wife all meeting Andy's mum.

I have bought a lovely short dress to wear in a size 16 woohoo....never thought that would ever happen :D I will be off plan but sensible, I will be driving so not drinking, the restaurant specialises in steaks so that's ok but I'm sure I will have real chips....starter....and birthday cupcake.....so maybe the 2lb for next Friday will be a miracle.....

Food today

hot porridge oats with skimmed milk
coffee
banana
bacon
egg x2
beans
tomatoes
2 w/m bread (400g) no butter
0% fat free Activia yogurt

Well last night Saturday was brill, family introductions complete and all went really well. Dan enjoyed his family meal, cost a fortune but who cares....

ok so what did I eat....I'll start at the beginning lol

breakfast - 2 wholemeal toast with tbsp mayo, bacon, lettuce, tomato & coffee

late lunch - small pack sushi, chilli mug shot

meal - diet coke
No starter
Chicken with bacon, cheese & BBQ sauce (picked at)
A few of the chips which were amazing (honestly didn't eat them all)
Pinched everyone's side salad (who didn't want it)

Dessert - I chose banofee pie and oh my god it was good...Everyone had a spoon of it to try so I actually only had about half of it and left some as I was feeling really full.....

all in all I think that was rather good

we got home to Andy's and Christine and I decided not to open the wine I'd bought us and had a cup of tea instead. I ate my birthday cup cake before bed so as it didn't continue into Sunday.....

proud of myself actually, I ate like a slim person instead of like the fat person I was, I didn't feel the need to over indulge

Sunday 26.10.14

After dropping Andy's mum back home we headed to Ingleton to do a walk by the Viaduct, it was an easy 5 miles but it was very cold and windy, the walk is part of the 3 peaks challenge, so there were quite a few people out and about.

We started the day with a massive breakfast of bacon, egg, beans, tomatoes and toast made by Andy, I made sandwiches for us for the walk, again 2 w/meal bread with one cheese triangle light & ham plus a banana.

Andy cooked dinner of roast beef, veggies, SW roast potatoes, gravy and one small Yorkshire pudding. About an hour later I was still hungry so had an apple and Muller light greek yogurt 0.5 syns

Today is Dan's actual birthday unfortunately he has had to work hahaha....but I'm working from home yay.....not sure what we are doing for dinner tonight, my thoughts were to go out just me and Dan, but I think Dan wants a take away so this will be the last of the celebration foods.....it will be either pizza, chinese if it's open or Indian....all not good for slimming world but it's only one meal.

we ended up not having the take away as such, Dan suggested we nip to ASDA and pick up one of their takeaway in a bag so we had Indian and it was lush...we are both done now and been back on plan I had a mid week check on the scales and my weight is the same so I will probably have a maintain on Friday which for once I will not complain about lol.

Well pleased rhis morning scales are 3lb down so got my pledge of 7lb for month and 12 stone target and got into the 11 bracket. ..happy days....

Made some home made veg soup last night which me mum an dad have had for lunch and it was lush so made some more for over wknd.

Ii feel its getting to cold for salads now so the soup is filling and warm and totally free.
