thats brilliant idea, counting down instead of counting up. im really going to have to that, it sounds like youve done amazing so far. im off work sick today think i have caught a bug just keep been sick :( so im not doing anything today! Betty x

Oh no! I hope you start to feel better soon. I bet you come into contact with all sorts of nasties at work, it's no wonder people in "health care" of all sorts are vulnerable to infections and such. Keep your liquid intake up if you can, dehydration on top of all that won't be good.
 
Hope you feel better soon. I am just getting over a chest and ear infection and the antibiotics are too strong for me to go back to work as I work in social care. But I took the last one this morning so I should be clear to go back tomorrow. I miss the clients and carers so much but not the office work.

usually i dont catch things but theres been a lot of bugs about with patients and it doesnt help my boyfriend has the worst immune system in the history of immune systems! im sipping flat coke zero!! still trying to stick to it!

aw chest infections are brutal ive never had one but a nurse at work gets them all the time! pesky antibiotics! hope you manage to mooch back to workies tomorrow and feel better!

day one back on the wagon!
had a terrible snooze again, so warm, cant get comfy, tossing and turning constantly AND THEM FLAMIN BIRDS!!!!! ewff. so its fair to say i was a delight this morning!
i got told off the dentist i looked 'dog tired' yesterday, and today he told me i looked like 's..t'. how lovely. i feel so poorly!!
had an apple for breakfast, managed to drink a bottle and a half of water all day at work. was so busy so didnt get to have a break. dinner was mugshot, apple and pear! avoided the biscuits in the staff room!!
went to aldi after workies and stocked back up on veg!
boyfriend came home pleased as punch as he has now got the car he wanted. a renault clio sport 179 or 197 or something or other. All i know is its a pretty colour blue!
we halfed a big easter egg, i checked syns and it is 13.5syns.
for tea it was a ww wrap pizza ( which ive looked all over, some people say its a heb and some people say it isnt! so ive just classed it as a heb!) with lettuce, cucumber, sweetcorn, beetroot, and some roasties which we havnt had in ages!! the topping of the 'pizza' was fried mushrooms and red onion. yummy!!!

i followed this off with a muller light and an aldi brooklea greek yoghurt.
bringing my total syns of the day to 14! ( i had a cup of tea at workies which means half a syn!)

hopefully will do some exercise tomorrow, but for now,
we are going to go on a little drive in this new car!

the day so far..we have a very tired Betty :(
had an apple for breakfast as always, done my stock at work through blurred eyes.
had 5mins in the staff room on my own and couldnt resist two biccies :( 8 syns!
dinner time now and ive had chinese style mugshot, a fat free yoghurt and an apple and pear. so syn free dinner me thinks.
so tired, roll on 5. going to charge my phone so at least if i manage to go to gym i have music...
i need my bed ASAP!

so ashamed of my self and gutted, only managed about 18mins at the gym :(
last night when i was getting out the car after our lovely drive, my top half of my body went out the car along with my left leg, but my right leg stayed in the car. pain ripped through the top of my thigh and it really took my breath away! hobbled to the flat sat down, went to lift my leg to get cosy and it was agony! now i've got quite a good pain threshold but this hurt so much! i actually cried!
anywhoo today its been okay just hurts going up and downs stairs, so went to the gym, done 10mins on cross trainer when ot started to ache, powered through a 5min hill interval on the treadmill, then done a 2min fast walk, attempted a jog and after two mins i couldnt do it anymore. it felt like my leg wasnt stable or wasnt attached to me!

came home and had two pork madallions for tea with steamed sprouts, carrots and broccili, mash and fried onions and mushrooms. followed by a muller light and an aldi free yoghurt. along with an apple.
also drank two bottles of water today!
very mixed feelings as im disgustingly huge but hopefully today hasnt been too bad, but ive been feeling very down. fed up. and at the gym my back fat felt huge! i certainly think im towards 25stone.
but only i can do anything about it :(

If you've hurt yourself, should you be exercising those muscles? I don't know, I know nothing about that kind of thing. If it was me I think I'd be looking to rest the area a bit, but then gentle stretches and moves to keep everything supple rather than trying to do what I could normally do.

Don't feel down - if you'd broken a bone youcould hardly run a marathon!

i know i probably shouldnt but i want to. as soon as i had them two biscuits at work i instantly felt guilty and forced myself to go to the gym. i know for me exercising isnt as important as eating healthyly and low syns, but i feel i HAVE to exercise.
im tempted to give the gym another go tomorroww....

I think any doctor or fitness trainer will tell you not to put the muscle under any more stress amd rest for 2 to 3 days before going back to the gym. Have you got a swimming pool with women only sessions that you could go to instead?

i sometimes go swimming on a tuesday and thursday night with my older brother but his grandad is in hosp at the mo so we havnt been going. i dont mind a mixed pool but the swim sessions where its adult only dont start until 8! which isca hugeee chew on... should i leave gym tomorrow and do it friday instead maybe?

Well today has been a good little day!
didnt sleep very well again, but was up at half past six to put all the veg in the slow cooker! as i had plenty of time i also mad myself a lovely salad box for workies

mooched to workies and had a DREADFUL day!! but managed to drink a litre and a half of water :)
Got chicken bits from Tesco to go into my little salad, yumyum, with a pear and a yoghurt.
towards the end of the day i got so annoyed i ended up having two Aldi jaffa cakes in the staff room (5syns)

had to pop to dads to drop off some cardboard boxes for my mam as grandmas house has been sold so need to start moving stuff. ended up having a finger of timeout which is 4,5 syns. oops.

came home and the stew smelt AMAZING!
put some potatos on to steam along with sprouts. amazing tea!!

then me and boyfriend mooched off to tesco to look for holidays, just to see what they had to offer.
then mooched to asda for me to get a cute lunchbox for workies. its purple and has FOUR compartments!!!! its amazing!!
then on way home boyfriend wanted a subway ( i know right) and i felt that cause i hadnt done any exercise i should have a subway salad to have more superspeed foods!!!
greedy i know but we could have had worse!! so thats 2 syns, bringing todays syns to 11.5!

Oh dear go to my dads, no one in, so i scoff a bag of ready salted mccoys, 8.5, a bag of salt and vinegar mccoys 8.5, 1 orange club 5.5, 1 flake 8.5, 1rocky 5.5 and 2 foxs biscuits bars 6 (i think) 12.

Bringing todays syns to 48.5!!! My syns yesterday were 11.5, wednesday 8 and tuesday 14.. =82!!!! oh also add on the 5! Little choccies i fattily couldnt resist at work as well at 2.5syns each brings it to 12.5 add on to 82 means its 94.5 syns!!!! Oh dear. Very very low syn/ no syn weekend i think!!!

Oh dear. Were there any free alternatives on offer or were you just eating them because they were there? I feel for you, but I don't really understand what drives that sort of behaviour. I don't know what to say to help...
