Diary of an 810er...

Just wanted to add that even SS + calories don't add up!!! So I'm calculating myself. I have another 19lb to loose but will switch to 810 when I get to 10st 7, also planning on using exante. Look forward to reading your diary.

Dukan diet has some good protein recipes.
 
So went to my weight in- in fact I cycled (an 8mile round trip!) and when I got there I was so sweaty her tape measure stuck to my back, super gross and embarrassing!!

Good news is I lost a bit off my waist and dropped a couple of pounds, my CDC said it was disappointing but I was just pleased to have a loss after cheating so much this week! Ive got 11 pounds to lose and I want to shift it in 2-3 weeks although it's coming up to party season (leaving do Sat, my birthday and bf's birthday in 2nd week if August) but I'll try my best!!

I'm still enjoying 810 immensely actually. I can see myself off the CD eating these meals which is exciting! Today I had chicken kebabs marinated in 0% fat yoghurt (a firm favourite) and some celeriac chips!!

I thought I wasn't going to like celeriac as it smells like celery and I hate celery with a passion. But all cooked and dust with curry powder they made pretty good chip substitute- although they were a bit soggy, might need to find a better recipe to get them crispier!

I would NEVER have make kebabs and celeriac before this diet, now I've discovered new yummy healthy food. I can't wait to make it for my bf (we're moving in together on Monday!!!).

Just in bed now. I had to force down my 3rd pack of the day- I didn't really fancy it as I was so full from dinner, but I had a malt toffee bar. And OMFG!! It's like a friggin Mars bar!! Delicious! Nice surprise!

Evening all!

Just had a delicious dinner of chilli and chips!!

Well turkey chilli and Celeriac chips and damn it was good and so filling!

Wad at work all day today so I have nothing else interesting to say other than I might try day 4 of 30 day shred before bed. I've been having trouble sleeping lately so that might help.

Hmm having a bit of a hellish weekend. I always try and fit too much in!

It's been work, socialise, work, socialise and haven't really had any time to unwind. I'm working until 11pm tonight and I'm moving house tomorrow!! Arghhh!

Diets been okay- but I haven't had time to shred it up. Hopefully next week? I hope everyone else has been alright this weekend. xx
 
Hi chaps, how's life? I hope you're all doing well.

My diet hasn't been 100% lately. I'd say about 88% but still eating miles less than normal. Weight has finally reached 75kg- 10kilos less than when I started, wahoo!!

Anyway I have moved house and haven't done 30DS in a while due to DVD player not being set up, so I need to sort that one out! I'm at work right now but I have all of next week off so I'm going to get on it asap!

Good news is it's my birthday tomorrow! Well, in a few minutes actually! I'm hoping this will be the start of a more slender, healthier year for me!

Hi all!

Wow, it's been nearly 3 years and here I am again.

I've been off and on CD for the last 3 years. It has been a success. After dropping from 13 to 11 stone, my weight has fluctuated between 11 and 12 stone over the last couple of years. Which is great, as I've never been back to how big I was before.

BUT I'm ready to be at and below goal weight. I'm talking sub 11 stone. I want to be there, I need to be there.

So here I am, feeling those hunger pangs again. I had the "last supper" with my now-husband last night and we're doing SS together! No longer 810… but reading all those recipes make it sound goooooood!

It's day 1 and I'm struggling! I have been massively over indulging lately with absolutely no restrictions on intake at all. The gluttony disgusts me. I can't wait to drop the pounds and feel healthy again!

I am currently at 12st6 and want to get to 11stone or less… in 4 weeks! Yes it's probably not possible but by golly I'm going to give it my best shot! Reading through my old posts I sure did cheat a lot, I mean seriously…!! Sangria, gin and pitta bread?? What WAS I thinking? No wonder the weight was slow to come off!

Well, it's sole source for me… new favourites are choc orange bars… the dark chocolate… omg soooo good! Plan is for late breakfast tetra, followed by bar for afternoon snack/late lunch. Another chic tetra when I get back from work, then a soup or chocolate shake in the evening. And tonnes and tonnes of water. Today was my 1st day and I'm not enjoying the frequent visits to the loo! Although I love not feeling dehydrated!

Well that's it, I'll try to post regularly and keep you updated. How are all you lot doing? What's new in the world of CD?? Have a good evening! x
 
Going to bed hungry... Sucks!

Just a bit of motivation... Where I've been so greedy lately, I can really feel my thighs expanding... Like a tight uncomfortable feeling in the skin. I hated it but didn't really feel it much today... Can't wait til they start shrinking!

Woke up feeling hungry, which never happens as I'm not a breakfast eater!

Cannot wait until ketosis! Feeling so much better already. Less bloated and swollen.

Had 2 cups of black coffee so far today. Does that make you retain water? Either way, not missing the milk!

Hiya thought id say hi :) your doing great ! Im a cambridge returner did it bak in 2009 lost 3 stone but gained it all bak and had a baby.just come bsk from hols and lost 3 stone before i went on cwp so today is first day as a restart.starving lol x
 
Hi franbella... 3 stone wow, that's loads. You can totally do it again!

It's funny how we can let ourselves get back to our old ways isn't it? I honestly can't believe it happened to me after all that hard work. Although maybe i'd be heavier if it hadn't happened lol!

So been good today, although a friend let me down last minute and I got angry and my appetite (not temper!) flared up! My god I want to eat! I've got one product left and about 3 hours before bed so got that crutch I suppose.

Also contemplating a coke zero! Not in ketosis yet so might give it a miss.

Feeling miles better today in terms of not feeling bloated and bulging! Looking forward to these chubby cheeks slimming down!

Anyway.... Hopefully ketosis is around the corner. I hate being hungry all the time! Who doesn't! Best of luck to you all for the rest of today!

Oh sweetie good luck!!! :cross: you sound really determined and that's half the battle! Just stay strong and keep glugging the water!! And so lovely that hubs is doing it with you! My parents on the plan as well and it does help having someone close to you who really understands the torture!!! Xxx

I'm lying in bed now- an hour earlier than usual. Couldn't stay up any longer- very tired and very cold! And hungry!! My god this thread is turning in to a right moan-fest... But I suppose that's the beauty of the diaries thread- we can verbalise our internal turmoil, however ridiculous and self-obsessed!!

It's only end of day 2 and really feeling the effects. I think perhaps it is because before Tuesday, I practically lived on a diet of exclusively carbs (lol!) and now my body is like "what the **** is going ooonnnnnnn?!?!!!". Ha!

Hoping its ketosis day tomorrow! Need that buzz! Hubby is doing well, although he ate some gherkin pickles today which is fine, but I'm scared in case it opens the flood gates! I considered a can of tuna but decided against it for the same reason.

I had a look at some old photos for some "thinspiration". I know that's a bad term used by anorexics but it's rather appropriate and maybe we can spin it to give it healthy connotations?? Hmmm maybe not. Looking at the pictures did help though, I recommend it.

Good day all.

So this morning I woke up with slightly rancid breath.

Is it possible?? Could it be???

Ketosis?? But then the hunger pangs hit me on the way to work and I had to snaffle a banana bliss on the tube. Bah, oh well!

I'm weighing myself daily now. I know it's not a good thing to do, but when you're 100% it can be pretty motivating! Always in the morning, always after a pee.

I've had a choc orange bar for lunch (Girl at work- "is that a Jaffa cake bar?". Me- "errr yes?!").

I'm still contemplating going onto SS+. Seriously a bit of tuna or chicken would be a godsend right now!

Anyhow back to work! I hope you're all having a good healthy day! Xx

One of whom is my brother's girlfriend who is super judgemental and is obsessed with diet and exercise! Not fun, but I'm determined to enjoy myself and not feel self conscious! Don't ask why I'm going, I agreed before i properly thought it through! Argh!

It does help focus the mind though!

Yes lovely. I had the exact same losses. For some people its too much to eat just that once and in set amounts which is why they don't do it however I loved coming home & being able to have some meat & salad.

Try it out for a week & see how it goes?

I'm 12lbs from my goal & i'm going away end of August so I need to get this off in a month and tone up!

Hi everybody, how's it going??

My GOD I am struggling. I just want to eat everything and anything.

I've been doing SS+/810 the laser few days and I can't seem to get into ketosis. At least I don't think I am. My fault as I keep cheating with small things here and there and it's making a difference!

I'm feeling so bloated and I'm so constipated it's starting to get me down. I took 2 senna last night but no joy so far. I've got my first weigh in for 2 weeks tonight so I'm hoping for some relief before I go!

Sorry for TMI!!

Will let you know about weigh in but not that hopeful. Reckon 4/5 lbs which is a bit disappointing over 2 weeks but fingers crossed!

So my weigh in was a success- lost 10lbs in 2 weeks so I'm happy! Although I definitely pigged out on my last supper so starting weight was probably especially high!

Been doing okay, having choc tetras mostly. I had some celeriac chips last night, which are okay- as long as you ignore the mild taste of celery..!

I'm having a bit of a mental slump. At work, everyone is eating such amazing lunches- rice... jacket potatoes... Yummmmm! Why can't I eat that like a normal person and not gain weight?! Sooo jealous, although my tetra was tasty..! Damn carb addiction, it can't be far from what heroin addiction is like!

Anyway- I'm staying strong and coping. Just over a week until my holiday and I want to be able to wear a bikini without feeling an enormous tummy roll in the way! Just got to concentrate on that!

Also constipation is slightly better but not completely resolved. I am turning into one of those people who is obsessed with their own bowel movements... Not cool!!
