Diary to a new me 56lbs to lose

    Well today I have started my fasting weight loss journey, feeling positive about it so that has to be a good thing! I stepped on the scales this morning after a particularly bad weekend filled with alcohol, pizza and chocolate and am weighing in at 14st 11lb which wasn't a massive shock after the last week! I really want to try and get myself down to about 11st as I think that is a maintainable weight for me! I am going to be using slim and save packs on my fasting days and trying to stick to 1900-2000 calories on my non fast days and also work some 30 day shred exercise in there too. So here's to a new me!!!

    Thanks, finally feeling positive about this journey!
    Well the end of my first fast day and it wasn't actually as bad as I expected, I found the morning harder than the afternoon, I have even managed to drink 2.5 litres of water which I am really pleased with! I am doing a normal day tomorrow have been trying to plan my meals but am struggling to figure what to do for an evening meal that isn't filled with carbs!!

    Well done on your first fast! I'm quite a carb junkie i will admit, try to limit bread to once a day but almost always fail lol x

    Yeah I am a carb junkie my hubby makes fresh bread every morning too so I struggle trying to steer clear of it lol! Trying to limit myself to just one meal a day with bread too so hopefully today I shall manage that. Thanks diet ninja I will have a look at those boards, I think I have planned tonight's meal okay but inspiration for the rest would be really good :)

    Well today was my UD I managed to only have bread with one meal and according to MFP I have stuck to 1800 calories but I really wasn't hungry, I even managed to steer clear of the chocolate all day which is a first for me I am a massive chocoholic. Looking forward to another fast day I find it much easier to keep my water intake up on my fast days!

    I am struggling at the mo although I have remained strong and not strayed! I did my fast day yesterday which I stuck to 526 cals even though I was in a foul mood and all I wanted to do was eat! I have planned my meals for today and should be sticking at about 1800 calories :D although I still want to comfort eat I am refusing to allow myself to sabotage my hard work!
    I took a sneaky peak on the scales this morning they are going down so hopefully come my official weigh in day I will have a nice loss :D

    Right well my first official weigh in and I have lost 4.2lbs I am pretty pleased with that! I am enjoying this approach I don't find the fast days too hard.
    I have just had to have both days this weekend as UD's as I was at work and working on a FD would kill me! I am now finding getting back onto a FD is a bit more of a push but I just keep imagining where I want to be and that spurs me on. Going to incorporate some exercise in this week on my UD too

    Thanks guys i am really impressed with that loss, found my fast day yesterday a bit of a challenge but I stayed strong and stuck with it, really feeling positive about this way of losing weight! Need to find some exercise now I enjoy doing really want to go running but I hate the idea of people looking at me!

    Well today somehow I managed to stick with a fast day feeling very determined but god it has been a struggle! The boys have been testing to the limits arguing over everything which just made me want to reach out for the biscuits, I refuse to let myself fall into that trap again!! I need to feel good about myself again :)

    Well yesterday my last fast day of the week and still managed to stick to it but only just! Started seeing flashing lights so think my blood sugar dropped a bit too low so had some lucazade. Think I maybe did a bit too much as it was non stop!
    On a plus note I weighed myself this morning was 14st4lb which gives me a 3lb loss so so happy with that!!! :D aiming for a 2lb loss next week.

    Well been super busy at work all weekend so haven't updated! After work on Saturday was very naughty and went to the fair ended up having an entire bag of candy floss and half a jumbo hot dog as I didn't feel particularly hungry was just eating for the sake of it! Proud of myself as usually I would have ate the whole thing hungry or not! I have decided to just aim for a 1lb loss this week due to the naughtiness at the weekend.
    Seen my sister too who asked if I had lost weight which was a great boost still can't believe I have lost half a stone in 2 weeks sounds loads when I put it like that, can't believe I am on my 3rd week and still feeling so positive feel like I have finally found the way, also my fast day yesterday felt much easier so hoping my body is getting used to it

    So I'm on a fast day today, deffinately finding it easier as time goes by weigh in day tomorrow and I am actually excited about getting on the scales!
    I did my measurements today and can't beleive that in nearly 3 weeks I have lost 2in from my waist, 1.5in from my stomach and 1.5 in from my hips didn't bother doing legs and arms because I always measure them in different spots so it is never accurate lol
