diet coke chicken

just tried this for tea experimented on son first on son lol although he enjoyed the coke did not go sticky what am i doing wrong?tried just coke in pan to see what happened and it just disapered lol hoping to do my tea soon and im wanting it sticky

not sure. I left mine on full while it reduced, was perfect!

hi just had it enjoyed but was still not sticky more liquid i just used some out of pop bottle

i now know that if you use flat coke it doesn't work, it's wierd cos mine normally turns out fine, maybe we're not using enough coke? does it work better if the chicken is really browned off first? maybe it makes a difference if the coke's been in the fridge first.
