Dinkie Dawnies Dubious Diary of Downsizing, Deflation, and Debauchery

Glad Suki seems alot better. I love minis for the advise. Someone can always help and whats lovely is they are always happy to.

I so want a tattoo just a weeny one but the thought actually terrifies me :( I know the one in Wellingborough will numb it if you tell them first so maybe thats what I have to do, I will wait until I am less flabby I think :D may need you to hold my hand though Dawnie :) xxxxxxxx

Hiya Disappearing Dawnie.

Are we still supposed to be going out tonight?
Shall we just do a quick (& cheap!) Queen Eleanor, rather than trying to find somewhere more exciting?

Off to funeral shortly, but will be back later.

Good questions!
Just asked Garath who's tattooing me at this very moment, and he said it would have to be a huge weight loss or gain to make a difference x

And this isn't actually as painful as I thought it would be!

Weeeeellllllllll...

Does anybody REALLY want to see Dawnie's new decoration?

You do??

Are you sure???

Oh, go on then!

Why, why, why does the photo uploaded on the phone not work properly when you really need it to?

I'll try again...

Has it worked this time?

Ok, the sneaky thing actually worked every time: it just made me think it hadn't. So you can have three identical pictures of Dawn's back!

ETA - Think I've reduced it to just the one now!

Yup...all done now! One and a half hours lol! Sitting in the pub with Sarah now and a glass of red wine! Think I deserve it!

I love the tatt! Wasn't sure whether I'd cope with the pain so didn't go too big, and I can easily add to it, which I probably will do cos I've got the bug now!

Anyway, here's a pic. Sarah was going to put one on but she's having problems with her phone so not sure if its worked...

Hello girls !!!

That tattoo is quite something.

I am so glad you are out together tonight. Did you go to The Queen Eleanor ?? I looked at the menu and it looks scrummy. I would be spoilt for choice.

Have a lovely night my two girls,

love mumsie xxxx

Oh Dawn! that's huge! And looks amazing so jealous i want mine done now!xx

Hiya, Decorated Dawnie.
Are you as stuffed as I am?

Good job it was all syn free, eh?

Evening Dawnie - finally managed to catch up with your diary. Phew.

Tat looks amazing - as I said on Saturday, I'm not sure I could ever have one done but I do like really artistic ones - which your's certainly is. I hate things like "mum" and "dad" tattooed on knuckles. Another photo of the whole back please when the swelling and redness has disappeared.

I SOOOOO enjoyed meeting you on Saturday. You're much dinkier than your photos!!! :D And look stunning in the flesh. Not that I actually saw much of the flesh under all those clothes on Saturday!

All we've got to do now is work out how to get you to Spain!!!!
I'll have a quiet word with the engineer of the USS Enterprise!
That should work :beam:

Wow! Evening ladies x

Thanks so much for all your lovely comments on my new tattoo!! :happy036::happy036::happy036:

It's been quite a day lol!

This morning Gwyn went to the dentist while I pottered about, and then we went down to a tattoo place in town which had been recommended by several people Northampton Tattoo Club. It's only a tiny place with a waiting room, tattoo room and kitchen, and we were greeted by a lovely young lad called James. I chatted to him about some of the ideas I had, and showed him the pictures, and he got a big book out for me to look at. The tattoo room is open and so I could see this chap standing there having a cross tattoo done on his arm. James went through to talk to the tattooist about me, and when I saw the tattooist, Gareth, I was a bit nervous as he looked a bit fierce! But he was really lovely, and explained he designs lots of tattoos, and that he'd draw one for me using my ideas. And suddenly I found myself thinking I could trust him to do a good job...and booked in for 4pm!

So we came home and had some lunch and then I had to go to see the hygienist at the dentists :fear: I'm not a very good patient when it comes to visiting the dentist, but I do always go. And it was quite handy that I was getting tattooed straight afterwards as I was more worried about that than the dentist!

I got to the shop about 15 minutes early, armed with my bottle of water and hi fi bar as instructed by Gareth in case I felt a bit faint :faint2: James asked me to sit down and try to relax lol! Then Gareth called me through and showed me the drawing that he'd done for me, and I loved it straight away! So he positioned it on my back and asked me to check I was happy with it. We also went through all the colours I wanted him to use. And then I had to straddle a tattoo chair backwards and Gareth pumped it up fairly high, and tucked my jumper in my bra strap. Then it was time to start, and he warned me that the outline was probably the most painful part.

He was right! It was a bit of a shock to start off with, and after 5 minutes I did wonder if I could stand one and a half hours of it, but I gradually got used to it. Gareth chatted to me all the time, and he was such a lovely gentle guy! Just goes to show you how we should never judge anyone by their appearance :ashamed0005:

Quite a few customers came in and out and they were all really pleased with the work they'd had done there. It was a bit surreal being perched on that chair with people popping in but it actually made me relax a little more as my mind was taken off the tattooing! And soon I was so used to it, it really didn't bother me at all. And Gareth said I'd done brilliantly for my first one! :D

Anyway, after an hour and a half it was all done, and when I looked it the mirror I was totally thrilled with it! I opted to have it on the side of my back, and the design is such that I can add to it without any problems. I was concerned about handling the pain but it wasn't too bad, and I think I could've managed another hour but that would've been enough for me! So I may well bring the flowers across my lower back at some point, but tbh I need to see what this looks like when it's healed, but I totally LOVE it!!! :bliss: I'll put another pic on now as I think the earlier pics make it look bigger than it really is. And then when the bruising has gone down I'll put another one on x

And when I came out, I was met by lovely Sarah who'd walked up to meet me, and we went to my local pub for a meal. It was great to chat away from the hospital for once, and I enjoyed her company as always. I may have embarrassed her slightly when I said we're going to Ann Summers next week ;)

Anyway, not going to post my food as it may well have been ever so slightly off plan, but not much eh Sarah?! And yes, I'm stuffed!!!

Time to visit some diaries!

Jackie...if you really fancy getting a tattoo I'd be more than happy to go with you hunni xxx

Bev...thank you so much! I loved getting to know you too! Now why didn't I think about being beamed up? Much better than flying!

Valerie...I can't believe you've got 14 tattoos! Where are they and what have you got???
