Thats a fantastic loss - the website says that people on average loose 12-14lb a month so you are bang on!!! I've found that if I compare myself to others losses I always ended up disappointed and as a result got myself into the mind set of why bother I may as well just eat. Now I am trying hard to focus just on what I am loosing and to be honest, if I can manage 12lb a month I will be well chuffed!
Kudos to others on here who manage to loose more in a week than I am aiming for in a month, but it is me that is important in this process for me, and not what anyone else is achieving (if you see what I mean!).
No matter how you look at it though, it is a fabulous loss!

I would wait till you have done a month on the diet and take the months loss as a whole i think you will be pleased. Loading three is still good and it does not mean u wot lose more next week x

Hey you are doing just fine! Working out what suits us as individuals is very important and you are doing that.

I would be OVERJOYED to lose 12lb per month at this stage of the game!

Good luck x

Psyllium husks help for the loo thing. More water as well.
I have done VLCD twice and lost 2-3 lbs in WEEK ONE. Don't be disheartened - I then went on to lose 4 stone in a fairly decent time - maybe a few weeks later than others but I still did it. You may well lose a lot more next week. You also HAVE to remember that some of these people losing 10lbs etc (I never ever lost more than 7lbs and that was just once) are a lot bigger in the first place, or men, or at a different TOTM or a variety of other reasons. I know that you don't want to carry on at the mo but when you add up all the 3lbs (and more, and less some weeks) in a couple of months time then it will be 2 stone - fabulous. Oh, and if you did Weight Watchers, 3lbs would be a HUGE loss in one week.

I'm a lot bigger than you and have lost 4lb in my second week, I think that's a really reasonable amount. Perhaps it's worth thinking about your expectations, the disappointment is maybe tied into placing them too high. If you stuck at exante for another 12 weeks, losing 3lb a week that would be a loss of over 3 stone, which is amazing.

You can see my losses in my signature. I think I lost 1lb in my second week!!! I ended up having to eat to re-boot my metabolism. I think I then lost 6lbs the week after! Keep going. If you are 100% it WILL come off :)
