I have between 5-10 syns a day and I could lose 2-3lbs a week. Everyone is different and some need to use their full syns to lose weight. Try and have at least 5 syns a day if you can. They are there to be used and help you to not feel deprived. I use 5 syns everyday for a freddo bar with a cuppa in the evenings. Keeps me on track
